I chose this course because it is considered to be among the top 5 courses in Indian MBA education. XLRI is just behind IIM ABC in terms of reputation and placements. Each section has max 60 students. So a faculty student ratio of 60:1 exists currently for each section/subject. Most of the faculty have undergone their PHDs/FPMs from top b schools such as IIM Ahmedabad,IIM Lucknow,IIM Calcutta,TISS etc. The teaching method is case based in most subjects with several components of evaluation including assignments and exams. A MBA year consist of 3 semesters of 2.5 months each with 7-8 subjects approx in each semester. Exams are very frequent and occur every other week. End term exams occur at the end of each term so on an average after every 2.5 months. Difficulty varies from professor to professor and subject to subject but the exams range from moderate to difficult.

The course is pretty extensive and structured to give us the option to learn all facets required to be strong future leaders. The faculties here are competitive and facilitate great learning and the exams are scheduled conveniently.

It is the best PGDM Course in India with a focus on sustainability as well. The faculty/student ratio is almost 1:30. All of the faculty are a minimum Ph.D. and most have post-docs from US/Europe best colleges. Exams are very timely and conducted in a proper manner. One can perform well only if they have studied and applied themselves, cheating isn't a feasible way to pass.
Having work experience in the marketing domain for the last 2 years, I chose the Business Management course, as it gave me the flexibility to change the domain which I wanted to. The course curriculum is designed to cover all-around business development in the first year and provides the freedom to choose your specialization in the second. The faculty: student ratio is around 1:25, with most of the profs having qualifications of the old IIMs. The term exams are scheduled every 3 months and have moderate to hard level of difficulty.
The course was selected because it gave me the required knowledge and industry experience required to stand out from the crowd. There were around 60 students in each class. Each faculty at least had a Ph.D. and was very qualified to teach us.
Good placements and learning experience. The faculty-student ratio is pretty good. The teaching is decent, however, the cherry on top really is, is peer learning. It is not very difficult to pass but MBA as a course is definitely quite hectic because along with academics, you have a lot of events throughout the year. XL is a student-run campus, so from the food we eat to the internet on campus, is all managed by student teams in association with the administration, so people are always busy.
The course curriculum is at par with the top universities and is very interdisciplinary in nature. Most courses are executed via a case-based pedagogy. The faculty members ensure that the learning outcomes are aligned with industry requirements.
The course curriculum is very well suited to the industry's expectations. The class size of 60 faculty allows for interactions with the faculty. There were quizzes and processes all around the term with the end terms. First-year subjects are tougher to start with but it gets progressively easier.
One of the best colleges in the country. Huge average and median salary. Excellent faculty and alumni network. Excellent facilities. The faculty-student ratio is around 1:20. Most faculty are ph. D. Regular exams and quizzes and the level of the exams are on the tougher side.
To pursue a degree in Business Management or Human Resource Management, XLRI is the place to be. The overall design of the curriculum, faculty students ratio, and teaching pedagogy is updated and as per industry mentioned standards
