Remarks :

The admission process of XLRI was very smooth and all information required was seamlessly shared via email and social media handles. The cut-offs were promptly shared on the website to maintain transparency.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is at par with the top universities and is very interdisciplinary in nature. Most courses are executed via a case-based pedagogy. The faculty members ensure that the learning outcomes are aligned with industry requirements.

Internships Opportunities :

All major consulting and FMCG companies come for internships at XLRI. Apart from these product management roles are coming in plenty in the last few years. All the projects offered during the 2 months internship are evaluated for impact.

Placement Experience :

For the outgoing batch of 2022, around 100 companies visited the campus for recruitment and offered 437 offers to 427 students across the BM and HRM batches. Highest CTC offered was beyond 60 Lakhs, and the median was around 31 Lakhs. Students get placement offers via PPOs and final placements in the 6th term of the course.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are multiple scholarships available to provide financial assistance to students for eg: OPJEMS, Alumni Scholarships, EVA Revolut, and ABG Scholarship. The jobs and internship opportunities are excellent considering the pay and role. The companies recruiting from campus ensure that the assigned projects are optimized for the best learning and career growth.

Campus Life :

Weekender by DRACULA and EV are the two major cultural fests organized on campus which make the B School life enjoyable at XLRI. Apart from these, there are multiple interest-based committees for Quizzing, Dance, Photography, Drama, Fine Arts, Lit and Debate, and Music that help people follow their hobbies to the fullest. The college library is open 24x7 and is a haven for all kinds of books, journals, and terminals for all academic purposes. Apart from common rooms there are dedicated discussion rooms to facilitate peer learning.

Hostel Facilities :

Single rooms are allocated to everyone, rooms are spacious. The Mess menu is student-regulated and is good, to begin with, but gets repetitive towards the end. Apart from the mess, there are multiple eateries on campus that run throughout the day and night.

Placement Experience:

100% placement assistance is provided to the students and after in the term of placement of the students university is too good at it. And they focus each and every students for the placement drive and after all it's totally depends upon the student whether they want to opt in for the placement drive or they want to opt out for the placement drive due to higher studies and starting or managing their own business.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good considering the fees which is charged by XISS. The overall ROI is great and most of the big MNCs and organisations come for the college placements. It completely depends on the individual how he/she cracks the interview. College gives everyone the opportunity to sit for the placement process

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester students get eligible for placements. I guess around more than 50+ companies visit the campus. The highest package is always around 20+ lakhs and on average you can consider 12 lakhs while the lowest is 8 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed can be said around 95%. My plan is to get a good corporate job and work there as such no fancy plans.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The HR course was quite comprehensive. Lots of subjects were dedicated to different functionalities of HR. Lots of focus on Law, and employee benefits, worker rights and employer responsibility. The course boasts of some of the stalwarts of the industry teaching different courses such as the Professor who teaches compensation is responsible for designing the compensation structure over at HUL. It's very comprehensive, and periodically reviewed to remain relevant to the changing times

Course Curriculum Overview:

My Fate, I just slipped in the name of the college, 'social service'. Never do that mistake. That too if u r experienced, Please do not even see the college website. I chose rural management, funny. 75 students in a class. 6-7 faculty in the department. Half of the faculty doesn't speak proper English. There is a lady called Aditi who is placement coordinator. She cannot speak a word in English. She is the placement coordinator.... just imagine situation of the placement. In the second year of the college, from each department, a placement representative will be selected through election. All the PRs should work under her. That's the horrible part. She is a coordinator but acts like a gangster. U cannot call her with name. In 2020, that too a professional course, u cannot call anybody with name. Same old slave mentality. U should call by mam and sir. She ruined my entire second year because I was a non hindi speaking student. Teaching faculties are well qualified but 1940-50 methodologies

IMS is located in the heart of Capital of Jharkhand Ranchi surrounded by Parks and greenery. College is good. I can give 8 out of 10. It's not like IIMs or other prestigious colleges but it is nice college to explore your inner talent.
