Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is pretty extensive and structured to give us the option to learn all facets required to be strong future leaders. The faculties here are competitive and facilitate great learning and the exams are scheduled conveniently.

Internships Opportunities :

We receive offers from companies for consulting, marketing, finance, operations, and HR. Companies include Bain, BCG, McKinsey, TAS, HUL, Asian paints, AB InBev, byjus, Tata Steel, standard chartered, Goldman Sachs

Placement Experience :

Companies that visit include Bain, BCG, p&g, Deloitte, Kearney, McKinsey, TAS, HUL, Asian paints, AB Inbev, byjus, Tata Steel, standard chartered, and Goodman Sachs. The campus provides 100% placements always.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees have been hiked consistently in line with the expected hike rates. We received options to take loans from SBI and Indian Overseas Bank. The internship opportunities also ensure an average spend of 1.6LPM.

Campus Life :

The facilities available at the campus are pretty decent. The library has a huge collection of all important books. The sports facilities are enough to cater to all varieties of sports and we are provided with enough opportunities to participate in dance and drama activities. There are several clubs that cater to these interests

Hostel Facilities :

Single room with fans, sufficient lighting, cupboard, book shelf, desk and good ventilation. The meal quality in the mess is decent and we have several options to purchase from around the campus canteens

Admission :

Based on the xat score we were shortlisted for the personal interview. It was a 30-minute interview post and we received the shortlist. The interviews focused on my work experience and technical plus academic knowledge.

Placement Experience:

100% placement assistance is provided to the students and after in the term of placement of the students university is too good at it. And they focus each and every students for the placement drive and after all it's totally depends upon the student whether they want to opt in for the placement drive or they want to opt out for the placement drive due to higher studies and starting or managing their own business.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good considering the fees which is charged by XISS. The overall ROI is great and most of the big MNCs and organisations come for the college placements. It completely depends on the individual how he/she cracks the interview. College gives everyone the opportunity to sit for the placement process

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester students get eligible for placements. I guess around more than 50+ companies visit the campus. The highest package is always around 20+ lakhs and on average you can consider 12 lakhs while the lowest is 8 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed can be said around 95%. My plan is to get a good corporate job and work there as such no fancy plans.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The HR course was quite comprehensive. Lots of subjects were dedicated to different functionalities of HR. Lots of focus on Law, and employee benefits, worker rights and employer responsibility. The course boasts of some of the stalwarts of the industry teaching different courses such as the Professor who teaches compensation is responsible for designing the compensation structure over at HUL. It's very comprehensive, and periodically reviewed to remain relevant to the changing times

Course Curriculum Overview:

My Fate, I just slipped in the name of the college, 'social service'. Never do that mistake. That too if u r experienced, Please do not even see the college website. I chose rural management, funny. 75 students in a class. 6-7 faculty in the department. Half of the faculty doesn't speak proper English. There is a lady called Aditi who is placement coordinator. She cannot speak a word in English. She is the placement coordinator.... just imagine situation of the placement. In the second year of the college, from each department, a placement representative will be selected through election. All the PRs should work under her. That's the horrible part. She is a coordinator but acts like a gangster. U cannot call her with name. In 2020, that too a professional course, u cannot call anybody with name. Same old slave mentality. U should call by mam and sir. She ruined my entire second year because I was a non hindi speaking student. Teaching faculties are well qualified but 1940-50 methodologies

Remarks:

IMS is located in the heart of Capital of Jharkhand Ranchi surrounded by Parks and greenery. College is good. I can give 8 out of 10. It's not like IIMs or other prestigious colleges but it is nice college to explore your inner talent.
