The 2023 KEAM round 1 cutoff rank for the Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Mechanical Engineering) at TKM was 35207 for the General category.
Candidates with a pass in the plus-two examination of Kerala Higher Secondary Board or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects or any other examination accepted as equivalent thereto, securing a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission. Candidates with a Diploma in Engineering awarded by the Board of Technical Education of the Government of Kerala or a Diploma as accepted equivalent thereto securing a minimum of 50% marks in the final Diploma Examination are eligible for admission.

It is quit feasible. For merit students it is about 50000. And for management seat it is around 85000. This was for our batch. There are many scholarships for students with high marks in 12th and also for the top 3 ranks in the class. Also there is scholarships for minority community students.
The fees structure varies for different admission procedures. Students in government merit seat has much lesser fees when compared with the students who got admission under management seats. Many scholarships were also provided.
For Merit student it is 50,000 rupees. For Management Student it is 85,000 rupees. For NRI Students it is 1,10,000 rupees. Additional to this some miscellaneous fees are charged by the college. NRI students fees is quite very high as comparing with the merit and management seats.
Govt seat students have to pay a yearly 8000(tuition fee) +1700(exam fee) And around 4500 per month for hostel fee along with food. And all other expenses depends upon the students... Buying books is not compulsory when you get pdf notes for each subject
