Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose btech in mechanical engineering because of my intrest towards working and designing of machines. It was my dream from childhood. The curriculum enables us to prepare for real world scenarios through lab experiments and projects. I think there is no area for improvement in this curriculum and teaching methods. The frequency and timing of exams is very good , because we have time to study properly before exams and the exam difficulty level is medium.

Internships Opportunities :

Wipro offers internship in designing and manufacturing which is a great help for our future career. Our seniors did weather station in our college as their project and in future we also aims to inspire juniors in the future.

Placement Experience :

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. The companies visited are Wipro, lazas, Nestle. Currently i have no offers since i am only at 2nd year. The placements starts at 3rd year. 70% students gets placements every year. I plan to work under the same company for a long time.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The yearly fee structure is less compared to many other colleges, I pay 25000 per year as the tuition fees, I paid 10000 as caution fees, 9000 as registration fees. I didn't take any minor reservation category

Campus Life :

The annual and technical festival conducted in our college is known as Regalia. They are typically held in even semester in April. The range and accessibility of books and journals available in the library are vast. The facilities in the classroom is good with projecters and proper air conditioning. The sports and extracurricular are held but the activity is not prominent currently. The are groups known as IEDC, Dance club, creators club, NSS

Admission :

I applied to MES Engineering college Kuttipuram but I couldn't get seat in that college because i didn't had enough marks. I was able to get into another colleges but i only applied to TKMIT. I wrote KEAM exam and from that marks i got into this college the proccess is very easy and this eligibility level for this college is medium

Faculty :

The faculties are very friendly to us, they helps us to study efficently and make use of time productively. The faculties are approachable at any time in case of any doubt in the theories and other things also. The faculty i liked the most is the HOD of mechanical department Mr.Vyshakh Raveendra Kurup, Vyshakh sir helped us in the first year to the maximum he can. Sir adviced us the strategies and tips to study efficently. Most of the faculties are good, but i dislike one of the faculty, Anju Miss, the subject she was taking in 2nd semester was engineering mechanics , & I think because of the teacher's teaching style I was very backward in that subject. There are 2 series exams and one semester exams in each semester. The series exams are conducted for 50 marks each in which both will be converted to 50 marks.

Students are eligible for placement from semester 6. Many of the largest companies such as Cisco, IBM, Wipro etc come for placements. The largest package was 40 LPA from IT department and average package is 6 LPA. Last year's batch had placement percentage of 90%. My future plans are to try my best for placements, no plans for suture studies as of now.

Mostly the students get prepared for placements in the third year. Placement training is usually started in the mid of the third year. According to the passed out students and our seniors, the institution has enough good placements compared to other private institutions. The students get placed in MNCs like IBM, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, SAP, Wipro, CTS, IBS, UST Global, Government and Public Sector companies like BARC, ONGC, Powergrid, Delhi Metro and commercial banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Core Engineering companies like MRF, Apollo Tyres, Sobha, Procsys, Kalkitech etc speaks volumes about the professional excellence of students. The major activities of the Placement and Training Cell include coordinating the Campus placement activities of the college Conducting regular training for improving the soft-skills and conducting regular tests, GD`s and Mock Interviews. The major thrust area of the placement cell is training programs. Every student undergoes at least 150 hours of training programs which is spread across the years of study. They are trained by the best in the industry. Career guidance and placement orientation is ensured through sessions organised in-house and support from experts from outside. Guidance on how to prepare for various competitive exams like GATE, CAT, MAT, GRE, UPSC, PG entrance examinations etc. are also provided. Despite the economic uncertainties and industry challenges, the Class of 2024 achieved remarkable success in campus recruitment. A total of 78 students secured packages of 7LPA or more, with 484 offers from 76 companies. The highest package reached 15LPA, while the average package stood at a respectable 5.7LPA. Notable recruiters included TCS, CTS, SAP, Tataelxsi, People10, SOTI, UST, and Qburst. Core companies like Cadence, Schneider, Kalkitech, Procsys, Aarbee Structures, RDC, Saint Gobain, Dalmia, Walkaroo OEN, and Tejas Networks also hired students.

There are many programs to improve our placement capabilities. These programs provide spoken English classes and PMKVY Yojana classes. S6 and S7 students have the opportunity to attend placement sessions. The average package that the companies usually provide is 200,000 per annum. Usually, 10-15 students get placed in the first session, and the rest will be considered in the other upcoming sessions. I'm planning to do ethical hacking course after the degree
