Likes
- Well-experienced teachers help us achieve our goals. The college has a well-established course structure. The library, fabrication lab, and Innovation and Development Cell help us attain a deeper knowledge of our course.
- It is a well-liked college, and I prefer it if you are looking for the best engineering college.
Dislikes
- The course curriculum is bad as it instructs the college to teach age-old topics that are irrelevant in todays world.
- I got an internship in FACT, but it is not paid. However, I got an apprenticeship in TCC with a stipend of 9000.

Placement Experience:
The special placement training program by the college which lasts a week will be on the 6th semester and companies will visit college by S7 starting. The core companies were Shobha, L&T, Gulf Asia, Paradigm etc. Some students from our dept. got placement at TCS & TCE. Shobha offers 5000DHS as monthly salary, which is nearly 13.64LPA. The highest CTC offered to our batch student was 34 LPA and 2 students from CS Dept. got placed. On an average, 50% students got placed here and some of the students have secured admission at top IIMs like IIMA through CAT and some others are hoping to get admission at renowned IITs and NITs for having good rank in GATE 2024.

- The college was really great to study in Kollam District of Kerala. It was a nice experience to be part of engineering in TKMCE. The festivals and interships were mostly good

- I think the polical parties and their issues are not good for college atmosphere.
Placement Experience:
Placement cell is good in TKM. TKM college is known for it's placements, Around 400+ companies are coming in different departments of engineering and hires students by larger amount. It was good about placements.
Likes
- The college is well equipped with all the lap requirements for the curriculum
- The teachers are well trained and knowlegable in the feild. Most of the professors are Phd Holders.
Dislikes
- The college is comparatively smaller compared to other Govt Engineering college.
- The parking space is also less, hence there is difficulty in parking sometimes when an event is conducted.
Placement Experience:
Form 7th semester onwards students are elgible for campus placements. Are there will be placement training in 6th Semester. Many software companies come everyyear including Wipro, TCS, SOTI etc. As for Mechanical Core Placwments there are completely less placement. Companies like L&T, Shobha Constructions,MRF Tyres etc recruit Mechanical Students. Amost 60-70% students get palces everywhere in non circuit branches and 70-80% in circuit branches. The avrg CTC is 4-5LPA and the highest CTC was as high as 32LPA.

They provide good amount of placements with good quality. And the placement cell of my college is very standard and they communicate with us with each and every minute details. And inform us by date by date.

- The architecture of the college and the campus ambience
- College fest of tkmce , (hestia) is considered to be the second most greatest fest ever in kerala among all the other engineering colleges

- Exams are tightly packed in between fests and all .
- Semester completion of 6 months is done in 2 or 4 months that gives less time to study
Placement Experience:
Placements for students are eligible from 6th semester onwards . Whenever the student reaches sixth sem , the placement cell offers training to students of all classes on a massive amount . This trains the students to have a good placement. Also coming to the fact of being good at interviews. The highest package offered in this college is of 53 lakhs per annum and various companies is Oracle, IBM tata companies have been come for placement runs

- The best thing about the college is its placement benefits. Around 70 core companies came here to take freshers and interns and there are companies with good annual packages. Last year mechanical department a student got 13LPA in Dubai.
- The locality of the college is another attractive thing about this college. The college is situated in the Kollam district of the state of Kerala. A railway station named Kilikollur is situated nearby within 100m. Kollam junction is 6km from there
Dislikes
- The area where the college is surrounded is much less comparatively. All the departments are connected and closer. Parking area is limited and prioritised for faculty Parking. The auditorium space is also very limited
- College hostels for men for second-year students are not well-conditioned. They do not consider the needs of students, especially on exam days. The toilet condition is also not well-maintained on the last block
Course Curriculum Overview:
The mechanical department and Civil department have been accredited for 6 years with the NAA certification. - College size is just right, not too big, not too small
- Lot of events happen in the even semester and it helps you to relax from the academic stress

- Since it's being autonomous, the syllabus has been a little tough
- Even semesters are very short. But with good time management you can participate in academic and other programs equally
Placement Experience:
Placement for Btech in TKMCE is high whereas it for architecture is very low. I'm thinking of doing masters and working on a firm and to move abroad and practice there. Gulf countries and European countries offer good salary packagees for architecture so that's what I'm planning to do after college

- Good playground and facilities for sports activities, Facilities for exhibiting our artistic and technological skills.
- Good teaching and support from faculties. Especially the extra effort they are providing for students who are backward in studies. The learning atmosphere and the lab facilities are also good
Dislikes
- About four faculties who teached me were very lazy in completing their portions properly
Placement Experience:
Many companies including Scheduled banks are coming to TKM College for hiring professionals each year. More than 50% students are getting placed each year from civil department. Final year students are eligible for attending placement drives. This year, the highest package is offered by L & T and it is 6 lakh per annum. During previous years the highest package was nearly 12 Lakh per Annum. This year the average package is about 4 lakhs per annum. I didn't attend any placement drive as I am interested in startups

- The infrastructure facilities provide by the college is much good compared to pther government controlled colleges in kerala.
- The college is good and famous artists from different streams perform here like Anuv jain, Shalmali Kholgade,Anthara Mithra, DJ marri ferrari etc

- The tight academic schedule compared to other colleges
- Not all buildings have elevator facility

The placement is in the 7th semester and 6th semester. Actually the majority of students will get placed in bTech branches compared to architecture. The placement for bTech is actually good were the companies like Mahindra, BOSCH, L&T, TCS, Shobha realtoes etc. are doing the placement and above 70 percent students get placed every year in bTech. An avg pack of 4-6 lakhs and highest package was 34 LPA last year.

- Faculties are very friendly and they are working for our better future .A better example is our hod of department mr.fasil sir who is working unrestly for our development
- Results are publishing fastly as it is changed to autonomous

- There will be special classes if we havent complete our syllabus

Students are normally eligible to placement from third year also and they are preparing by the help of placement and interview unit cell. Almost 75 students got placement and almost 55%students qualified gate exam.the highest paid package is 1500000. I planned to get qualify for gate exam
