The college is following curriculum of Apj Abdul Kalam technological University. It strictly follows all the guidelines of University. Actually i was Passionate about computer science and took this course. But when came to reality the curriculum of ktu is not up to the mark. Certain changes need to be adopted on this curriculum to make students more professional. The ktu is following a tight schedule. It's saying that a semester is 6 months. But actually for ktu it's 3 months. Within 3 months, University conducts 2 series internal examination,1 internal lab examination and 1 University exam.

The college curriculum is well-structured, and the faculty members are knowledgeable and experienced. The college has a good mix of experienced and young faculty members who are committed to providing quality education to their students. The faculty members are approachable and supportive, and they provide guidance and mentorship to students. There are two series of exams per semester which contains great questions helpful for the semester exam.
Every student has a dream. my dream is to do anything for our society. I choose to engineer because I like maths very much. problematic papers, derivations, etc. Faculty qualifications are increasing day by day. many faculties have doctorates. some faculties didn't have doctorates but they teach us very well. I didn't think the exam was too tough. but the university has some issues with the valuation etc. I didn't like their valuation. every student who listen in the class and spent 1 hour daily on their studies definitely they will pass
Computer science was one of my favorite subjects while I was studying +2 so I opted to go for it and it was easy compared to ECE, EEE, and all. Comparatively easy syllabus and one who understands the logic can quickly clear exams. About the faculties and the department, they are mainly focused on academics rather than allowing us to explore tech and tools.
I choose this course for my dream job and really like this. Course. There are 50 students in the classroom. The teaching method is nice and very good teachers are there. The term exam was very easy.
Theres different sets of fee structure for different students. For students who got in via Merit, they'll only have to pay a very small amount. Also people who belong to the reservation community have very less to pay too. Theres also an NRI and Management Quota were you'll have to pay a donation.
Since our College is a government aided College the fees is bare minimum and can be afforded by anyone. Our College fees only comes to about 20000 per year excluding hostel fees. Hostel fees is around 5000 each month including food.
The fee structure is feasible but when compared to the fee structure of the colleges in the kollam the fee structure is high. Our fee structure is around 55000 per year. Which is relatively higher than most of the colleges in kollam. Most of the colleges in kollam only have a fee of 35000 per year.
Choosing between two colleges can be a difficult decision, and it ultimately depends on various factors such as your passion to learn and attain knowledge, personal preferences, career goals, and individual circumstances.
Here are some key points to consider when comparing the B.Tech Computer Science programs at TKM College of Engineering (TKMCE) and Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT):
Both TKMCE and CUSAT offer quality B.Tech Computer Science programs, and the decision ultimately depends on your personal preferences and career goals. It's recommended to research and compare the colleges based on the factors mentioned above and make an informed decision.
