Course Curriculum Overview :

In terms of the curriculum and course , the best one can get for bachelor of engineering in Kerala is an affiliated college under Kerala university and tkm was one of them till 2022 , degree under apj abdul kalam technological university gets a recognition on every course of career that is related to their courses . Exams are a problem here in this college . It is because their timing are very closely packed in a span of 4 months, the whole semester will be completed and in between that 2 internal exams will also be conducted. There is no need of improvement in the teaching methods of the faculties

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities in Tkm, college of engineering or not, specifically said in this era, internships can be availed from any type of college and it doesn't depend on the recommendation of the college unless you study in an Indian IIT or something.

Placement Experience :

Placements for students are eligible from 6th semester onwards . Whenever the student reaches sixth sem , the placement cell offers training to students of all classes on a massive amount . This trains the students to have a good placement. Also coming to the fact of being good at interviews. The highest package offered in this college is of 53 lakhs per annum and various companies is Oracle, IBM tata companies have been come for placement runs

Fees and Financial Aid :

Tuition fee for a student under merit quota is 40000 On calculating of all the semesters and for a management seat it comes around 10 lakhs total fee including donation . Egrants scholarship is available for all obc and sc st students .each student has 4 offers to his/her own for placements And also it increases according to new companies that come each year

Campus Life :

The campus life in Tkm College of engineering is one of the most exquisite experiences, one should have in his/her life. Speaking about the college fest, Tkm has the states second most grand festival ever people from all parts of the state, come to see and enjoy the ambience and vibe of this fest. On account of the sports and it's extracurricular activities Tkm gives you enough opportunity to show your skills and showcase them and use them for your own good in terms of state-level and national level championships. Just college has each club for every type of students on account of these clubs. Some of them are music, club, dance, club, drama, club, film club, these all clubs, organise events that are very interesting and can impact the student life in a very adverse way

Admission :

Admission to this college under merit quota requires keam exam rankings That are as follows: 2000-3000 minimum rank for general and obc students, 40000 minimum rank for sc st quota students And the cutoff for +2 marks is 75%. In case of any need for the application process you have the tkm trust office for admission process in management quota and tkm college office for merit quota

Faculty :

The faculties of this college are qualified with a minimum of a combination of btech , mtech and phd research or a double phd doctorate.As in terms of not only the qualifications of the faculties ,also the eay they teach students is in a very effective manner and one of the main reasons why students of tkmce give out the kerala's second best academic results is because of the supportive and efficient faculty group

CUSAT Cochin campus- best college life you can get in kerala

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from semester 6. Many of the largest companies such as Cisco, IBM, Wipro etc come for placements. The largest package was 40 LPA from IT department and average package is 6 LPA. Last year's batch had placement percentage of 90%. My future plans are to try my best for placements, no plans for suture studies as of now.

Mostly the students get prepared for placements in the third year. Placement training is usually started in the mid of the third year. According to the passed out students and our seniors, the institution has enough good placements compared to other private institutions. The students get placed in MNCs like IBM, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, SAP, Wipro, CTS, IBS, UST Global, Government and Public Sector companies like BARC, ONGC, Powergrid, Delhi Metro and commercial banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Core Engineering companies like MRF, Apollo Tyres, Sobha, Procsys, Kalkitech etc speaks volumes about the professional excellence of students.The major activities of the Placement and Training Cell include coordinating the Campus placement activities of the college Conducting regular training for improving the soft-skills and conducting regular tests, GD`s and Mock Interviews. The major thrust area of the placement cell is training programs. Every student undergoes at least 150 hours of training programs which is spread across the years of study. They are trained by the best in the industry. Career guidance and placement orientation is ensured through sessions organised in-house and support from experts from outside. Guidance on how to prepare for various competitive exams like GATE, CAT, MAT, GRE, UPSC, PG entrance examinations etc. are also provided. Despite the economic uncertainties and industry challenges, the Class of 2024 achieved remarkable success in campus recruitment. A total of 78 students secured packages of 7LPA or more, with 484 offers from 76 companies. The highest package reached 15LPA, while the average package stood at a respectable 5.7LPA. Notable recruiters included TCS, CTS, SAP, Tataelxsi, People10, SOTI, UST, and Qburst. Core companies like Cadence, Schneider, Kalkitech, Procsys, Aarbee Structures, RDC, Saint Gobain, Dalmia, Walkaroo OEN, and Tejas Networks also hired students.
