- B.Arch General Category Cutoff Rank is 170 for Round 1.
TKMCE Kollam offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in many engineering, architecture, and computer applications. Admission to the B.Tech is according to the KEAM rank. The application fee is INR 1000 for General and INR 500 for SC/ST candidates. The form can be submitted online or via Demand Draft, and a printed copy should be sent to the DTE, Thiruvananthapuram.
Admission to B.Arch is based on NATA score, as there is no centralized counseling for NATA aspirants, they must report to the college directly. M.Tech admissions occur based on the GATE score. The MCA admissions follow the procedures for the Kerala CEE entrance exam. Admission to the PhD program will be based on the university norms and the entrance exam. The application of the multiple programs is online, implemented through either CEE Kerala, DTE Kerala, or the official TKMCE website for the program concerned.
The eligibility criteria for admission at TKMCE Kollam vary for each course. For B.Tech, the regular requirement is 45% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at the 10+2 level. SC/ST candidates have to just pass the exam. For B.Arch, a 50% aggregate will be required, with Mathematics, and a minimum of 40% in NATA must be attained. KEAM 2024 cutoff ranks for B.Tech CSE ran between 1649-2157 while that for Civil Engineering was 10736-11767. In B.Arch, the NATA 2023 cutoffs were closed with a rank of 433 in Round 2.
TKMCE also offers a range of scholarships, including Merit-based MCM & FAEFA, IOCL scholarships, Fisheries scholarships, and Lakshadweep scholarships to support students financially.

TKMCE Kollam UG Admission 2025
B.Tech Eligibility
The course duration for B.Tech at TKMCE Kollam is 4 years. To apply for the B.Tech program under the merit category, candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and Chemistry as an optional subject. They must score a minimum of 45% marks in total across these subjects. For candidates belonging to the SC/ST category, simply passing the Higher Secondary examination is enough to meet the eligibility requirement.
B.Arch Eligibility
For the B.Arch program, candidates must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject, and must have at least 50% aggregate marks. Alternatively, those who have completed a 10+3 Diploma in any stream recognized by the Central or State Government with 50% aggregate marks are also eligible. Candidates who have completed an International Baccalaureate Diploma after 10 years of schooling, with at least 50% aggregate marks including Mathematics, are also eligible.

TKMCE Kollam PG Admission 2025
M.Tech Eligibility
To apply for the Government-aided M.Tech programs, candidates must hold a B.Tech degree in the relevant specialization. Those with a valid GATE score are eligible for scholarships.
For self-financing M.Tech programs, 50% of the seats are filled based on merit from a rank list prepared by the Director of Technical Education (DTE). The remaining 50% of seats are under the management quota, filled by eligible candidates.
MCA Eligibility
Candidates applying for the MCA program must have a 3-year degree with at least 50% marks, with Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Application, or Engineering & Technology as a main, subsidiary, or core subject, after 10+2 schooling.
For SEBC and physically handicapped candidates, a minimum of 45% marks is required.
For SC/ST candidates, a pass in the qualifying exam is sufficient.
Admissions to merit seats are carried out through a Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) conducted by the LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram.
PhD Eligibility
Admissions to the Ph.D. programs are based on the rules and guidelines of the respective regulatory bodies. Applicants must meet the specific norms and criteria as per the university and government regulations.

TKMCE Kollam Admission 2025: Application Process
To apply for courses at TKM College of Engineering, candidates must follow the respective admission procedures. For B.Tech, applicants need to register and apply online through the CEE Kerala portal for the KEAM exam, and submit the filled form to the DTE, Thiruvananthapuram. According to Goutham Krishna R, a B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering student at TKMCE Kollam, he got admission through management quota because his KEAM rank was not enough for getting into the CSE branch on merit. Otherwise, he could have opted for other branches on merit. He says TKM's faculty comprises both good as well as average. Some are good and friendly with the students, but some lack in teaching despite being knowledgeable. The course structure consists of two internal(series) exams followed by one end-of-semester university exam in each six-month semester. TKMCE Kollam Admission 2025: Scholarships
