The course will be done online, and they also provide good guides to help the students.
I get companies like Wipro, Medtronic, and Infosys for internships and jobs, both offering a good stipend during the internship.

It is expected that PhD students should not look for placements, but there are few cases where PhD students are placed in an R&D cell in some organization.
The college fee for the CSE department is 315,000. For the other departments, it is slightly lower, and for the Sikkim people, it is significantly lowerÂapproximately half of our fee.

From the 8th semester onwards, students become eligible for placements. Companies like Microsoft, Dell, Amazon, etc have shown up for placements. I would appreciate a job after the degree, but I would also like to pursue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Summer internships were offered by companies at the starting of 3rd year. placements were started at the starting of the 4th year. About 70% of students got placed till the end of October. I will be getting some industry experience and then going for further studies. Many companies visited like Providence, Dell, Nomura, Accenture, Capgemini, Wipro, Microsoft, Brillio, and many more.

The placements are excellent at SMIT and there is a multitude of companies that visit the campus yearly including Wipro, Accenture, HCl, Microsoft etc. In our current batch, there have been over 20 company visits so far, and a large percentage of students including myself are already placed.

I can assure you that SMIT provides one of the best college experiences in India. The faculty here are very supportive, they help each student with their doubts, encourages them to be innovative, and contribute their understanding to the research and development in science and technology. The study pattern is very simple over there, every day we have a new thing to learn, that made our subjects more interesting to study. The study procedure is more than just about studies but deeply in knowledge and practicality. There are many labs that support each student to have both theoretical and practical knowledge of all subjects. Our Institute made sure that the whole course syllabus was up to the mark and that each student gets the best education. All the authorities are very supportive, which makes the overall investing four years here worth it.One of most secure campus for girls (follow the SMIT Youtube channel) and the best part is faculty members are staying in the campus. They are always ready to help you even at mid night. You will find yourself in a place ?ÛÏhome away from home?Û.The biggest challenge for an engineering graduate is to get a decent job or a startup or a platform from where he/she can pursue her higher studies right after getting a Degree as he/she would have invested a lot of money, time and hardwork. Very few colleges have infrastructures to meet all these demands and SMIT is one of them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ece is the best department. Students to Teachers ratio is about 4:1 in ECE. Very helpful teachers. Professors are top-notch. Exams are hard but don't worry, professors teach in such a way that it will be piece of cake.

SMIT- A BANE TO STUDENTS

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. A variety of companies come for placements like Microsoft, Wipro, Dell, Bosch, Delloite, etc. The highest package offered is 22 lakhs per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum. 95% of students get placed via on-campus placements. After getting the degree, my personal plans are to join the armed forces and serve our nation.
