- The hostel and the facilities that are provided for the hostellers both boys and girls are really commendable and you get the treatment like home where you do not have any chnace of being homesick or other depression and anxiety issues.

Course Curriculum Overview:
As I have completed my BBA and I didn't want to opt for any jobs soon so I choose this career to sharpen my area of expertise so that if I get placed in any company then I can use my knowledge and the values that I have had in me through this course. The faculties were all doctorates and were all pursing their post-doctoral program or fellowship. The exams were held on every six months but before that, there were quizzes of 10 marks which had multiple choice questions and sessionals which had descriptive type and multiple choice questions. It was really hard to get through if you could not have a thorough knowledge of your subject and your understanding power must also be incredible so that you can write the answers thoughtfully. The faculty students ratio was 1:3

I choose this course cause I like Electrical and Electronics. The faculty is very helpful and we'll experience it. The class strength is 30 students. The starts and ends on time and also the syllabus is completed well before time giving enough time for preparation.

I chose this course because I always wanted to become an engineer. The classroom was good with a faculty-to-student ratio of 1:40. The faculty were highly qualified and taught using good methods which made it easy to understand. The exams were divided in 2 terms with 4 sessionals to evaluate our grades.

I took this course cause I was interested in it.The student-faculty relationship in the department is very close-knit and the teachers are very helpful towards each and every student. The exams are held termly and there are two sessionals and one semester exams along with quizzes and lab exams.The overall grading is done internally and externally. You can try avail passing marks internally so that you can grade up when the external exams I.e, semester exams begin.

The fee structure for the tution fee of SMIT was quite high as compared to other colleges. Mess charge and hostel charge were other major expense after the tution fee. Both were justified as per facilities provided. Except above there was no major expenditure.

The fee for EEE was 3.5 lakhs per year. It might have increased a bit now. The fee includes mess and hostel fees and hostel fee. The mess fee is around 90k per year and the hostel is 30k per year. The rest is Tution fee and college fee. There’s no extra charge for using sport facilities.

fees structures for 1 year is around 4 lakhs, for 1st semester it was around 2,5 lakhs and second semester is around 1.7 lakhs.and then 2nd year for 3rd semester it was around 2.5 lakhs and 4th semester was around 1.4lakhs and same goes around for 3rd and 4th years.

The fees all in all is feasible for a private college and worth for money. For an ECE student, it is around 13-14 lakhs for 4 years. One can get scholarship up to 30% according to his class 12th score. State quota and sports quota is also applicable for eligible students.

Fee structure is a little experience , being in the remote area of sikkim I don't think the fees should be that high. It is quite difficult to manage such amount of fees per year and rest the expenses.

- Students can opt for both on and off-campus placements.
- The most common recruiters are Dell, Microsoft, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Sibin Ventures, and other pharma companies.
- Students are offered a wide variety of roles like managers, assistant managers, and engineers in different fields like electrical, mechanical, computer, etc.
- The range of packages offered is 3 LPA-15 LPA.
- The highest package received so far is 15 LPA and the average reached 5-8 LPA.
- The placement percentage is around 60-70%.
- Some students opt for higher studies to gain more knowledge and become eligible for better packages.
