Institute of Engineering and Management has a full-time course BE/BTech with a duration of 4 years. JEE Main, WBJEE and JELET are accepting competitive scores for admission of the students in this program. Till last year you can get admission without clearing NEET UG exam but from this year new rule has been started that NEET UG is compulsory to get admission in this course. After clearing this exam by getting minimum marks according to cut off you have to apply for councelling.

I took entrance exam that Iem Crt exam and the requirement percent is 80 in boards and you have to behave properly during interview for admission coz the staff is trained like that to ask tough questions

University of engineering and management Kolkata has good placement record
Uem is one of the best engineering colleges in kolkta with big classroom and good faculty

Washrooms were not cleaned properly.
Uem Kolkata campus is too much strict...they always follow their restrictions

You have to give their own exam named IEMJEE or you can get admission through WBJEE and JEE. And need 60 percent in physics, mathmatics and chemistry in higher secondary examination from any board....

Good faculty and their friendly behavior
Very strict about discipline and decoram.

You need to pass 10+2 with certain percentage. Which criteria changes every year. You have to appear any jee exam and have to score needed rank. And according to your rank card after counseling you will get admission. In terms of reservation. Till now i have no imformation. There are 2 term exams in a semester and they are average in difficulty. If you follow the classes you will surely succeed.

The campus is very less , it's like there is no campus
Only in one campus their is AC facility in every class,in other campus their is AC only in hall room

You can check online for addmission,after cheating they provide everything you needed,if you are in Calcutta than you need to come the ashram campus for admission,i don't give any exam for addmission my h.s. percentage is needed minimum 60 to 70 percentage and for btech you need to appier for exam iemjee

No campus life but campus opprtunities is there

The things that i like about IEM is its Punctuality and Descipline.
IEM is located at the tech hub of salt lake city which gives student more exposer.

This College does not have a proper campus, only buildings.
this college has uniform and conduct itself in proper school format like 9 to 4, sometimes till 5 pm.

In 2020, I got admission into IEM through WBJEE, but now it has changed to IEMJEE from the 2024 batch. IEMJEE is conducted by the IEM-UEM group, especially for the IEM Kolkata and UEM Kolkata. The exam is easy to medium level. It happens same time around WBJEE. IEM has become an autonomous institute.

I like studying in this college very much because the faculties are very good and helpful
Everything here is fine and ok the campus placement is also very good

Parking Facilities are not good Enough.

The admission process is very simple if the students have a good marks in 12th standard and have a wbjee or jee mains results then he/she will get admission directly and very easily. There is not a fixed cutoff percentage it changes every year according to the scenario

the college premises is very good. As because our college guard is always take a in the gate as well as behind of the college also.

in college water quality is very bad as the water takes like littile salty.

You can get this college if you gave the exam of WBJEE and IEMJEE. You have to 80% in those exam and then the councilling is going from there you can get the college. If you get 60% in your higher secondary exam then you will get swami vivekananda scholarship.

The professors at UEM are highly knowledgeable and use effective teaching methods, which greatly enhances the learning experience.

The lack of air conditioned classrooms makes it uncomfortable, especially for exams during hot summers.
While the campus is generally well maintained, some of the facilities and infrastructure could use significant improvements to better support students.

The admission process was quick and easy. during my time, only wbjee score was checked,and 50000 rank could also get you in depending on how early you opt in and also the course avalability. there is also an admission test for students opting for scholarships and a rank to grab a seat at the college. THERE ARE NO HIDDEN CHARGES OR DONATIONS AT ALL.
