In our college the laboratory experience is very good specially physics & computer
The class rooms are big in size where light and air are very much

Course Curriculum Overview

In present there are a huge demand of computer science. But in future there will be a huge demand of electrical car and gadgets so I choose electrical engineering. In second sem there will very less time to cover all the syllabus

Class Size: 81Course Fees: INR 785000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I had paid 120000 rupees in the 1st semester and 2nd semester I paid 95000. In our college tution fee and other fees are total 15000. In our college electrical engineering branch course fee is 785000, computer science course fee is approx 1000000.

Campus Life

Our annual and technical festival name is IEMPACT which is held on the month of February. There are lots of books in our library. In our college there is basketball ground . Yes , obviously students run social media.

Admission

By the councelling of WBJEE result I got a chance in many other college but I choose IEM because it is the best private college in west bengal in engineering. There is a exam IEMJEE. I admitted this college by clearing this exam

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is 1:25. I like electrical faculty members. Because they are very carring. I don't like physics faculty because they are very rude behaviour with students. In a semester there are two mid term exam with practical. In December there will held a end sem exam and in April there will be held a end sem exam

Interview Experience

Yes, I have face a group discussion with my maternal uncle. He told me that it is a great college. IEM has organised a exam called IEMJEE. By clearing this exam I got a chance to admit this beautiful college

Night Life

Hangout spot in sector 5 is nalban food park , Rdb cinema hall, eco park, nicco park. The hostel will close in the evening 7 p.m. There are many bar in our locality like barocks, In our college there is a gym which is only used by the girls

Placement Experience:

Placement happened but not that much maximum 60 out 100 students got placed ya but 80 put pf 100 girls are placed in other words placement for girls are better than boy and if goes department wise then students from cse got got placement than any other department

Placement Experience:

Well in the 7th semester of final year, the students start getting placement and companies visit at this time mostly. The top hiring company is TCS, wipro, byju etc. The highest package is about 6-8 lakhs per annum for IT sector. Average package is around 2-3 lakhs per annum.

Inside Look: A Student perspective of IEM

I chose this college over the others since I wanted to stay in the city. I did get into KGEC and I visited the campus but I did not like what I saw so I decided to go to a college in city. I chose IEM specifically because it is the best private and the 2nd best college(after JU) that you can get from WBJEE. The admission process is fairly simple, you just have to fill out the form, bring supporting documents that you will be asked to bring and pay the first sem fees + caution money.
