Course Curriculum Overview
I selected this course because of the emphasis on technical core subjects like DSA, DBMS, OS, and Computer Networks in the first two semesters and project work and practical labs. The course curriculum also involves soft skill development and certifications, like Cambridge English, which helps in overall personality development. Exams are conducted twice a semester—Mid-Term and End-Term
Internships Opportunities
At UEM Jaipur, internships are offered by companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Bosch. Roles include software development, web development, data analysis, and machine learning, with stipends ranging from ?5,000 to ?15,000. Interns work on projects like web applications and data management, gaining valuable hands-on experience.
Placement Experience
Placements start from 7th semester. Many students get placed in IT companies like TCS, Wipro, and Capgemini. I plan to pursue a tech job or higher studies after graduation. highest package was 72 lpa . recentally a student of aiml got 24lpa package from wallmart.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am a 2nd-year B.Tech CSE student at UEM Jaipur, and the fee structure here is very straightforward. The tuition fee is 50,000 per semester, so it is 1,00,000 per year. During admission, there is a one-time registration fee of 5,000, and another 5,000 is charged for the uniform
Campus Life
Campus life at UEM Jaipur is lively with events like AceHack and HackUEM. The library offers a wide range of books and online resources. Classrooms are tech-equipped with projectors and Wi-Fi. The campus also provides facilities for sports, gym, and extracurricular activities through various clubs like TSS and GDG UEMJ, enriching student life.
Admission
Whilst searching for admission into B.Tech in CSE, I have also considered private colleges such as JECRC University Jaipur and Poornima Collage. I was promised by JECRC but eventually ended up in UEM Jaipur due to rising popularity, reasonable placement record at software levels, and low-cost fee structure compared to the standards in Rajasthan at the time of consideration. An added advantage was the location—proximity to home made it an easy alternative for my parents and myself to agree to
Faculty
The teacher-to-student ratio is about 1:20 in UEM Jaipur, through which effective interaction can take place. Professors are largely helpful and supportive during off-hours also. Dr. G Uma Ma'am and Sourabh Kumar Sir stood out from others to me, being engaging and supportive instructors during project work and certification courses.
Night Life
Nightlife in UEM Jaipur is fairly relaxed but does offer some venues for students to unwind. The library is 24/7, and it is a silent area to attend late-night classes.
