The college provides a 100% scholarship and the average placement provided is also quite sufficient and at par with the industry. If you are planning to do a job straight after your graduation then this is the place for you.

Being a commerce student, I chose B.Com. Hons. as it suited me better compared to other courses. The faculty members are fairly qualified and experienced and the faculty-to-student ratio is good. The exams were scheduled a little early during the first year which was a result of the late admission process due to Covid.

I chose this course because I wanted to do a start-up from the beginning. So this course would provide me with various knowledge regarding start-ups. Faculty is good, teachers are very friendly and helpful. It was not so difficult to pass the exams. 1 month before the exams start will be very easy to crack the exam
The Department of English began operations in July 2017 and now enrols 226 students throughout its undergraduate and graduate programmes. Six full-time faculty members, two guest professors, and one visiting lecturer make up the department. The Department began offering PhD courses in July 2019 and currently has nine research scholars working on projects. The department's teaching strategies strike a delicate balance between more conventional modes of instruction using textual exegesis and the use of digital media, including PowerPoint presentations, audio-visual formats, experimental exercises as part of educational processes, and interactive sessions. The professors have also recorded their lectures. There have been a number of invited academic lectures given, followed by student exchanges that have greatly benefited the department's overall academic atmosphere.

From the very beginning, I had a keen interest in anchoring and wanted to become a sports anchor. Especially, a cricket anchor which is the very reason I chose this course. My faculty had two guest lecturers and three full-time lecturers. They all had Ph.D. qualifications.
The faculty members were very helpful at every step of the course. Their teaching method was also up to the mark. The term exams were also as per the given schedule. The exam papers were not so easy it required a great knowledge of the subject.
From the third semester hopefully. From the first batch of MBA, almost 80% of students got placements. I'll probably do my preparation for government jobs and will go for civil service examinations and also will build my skills in the Japanese language
Many big and small companies give offers to the students, almost 60 to 70% of students got their placements in well-known companies and get a salary of 10LPY. I am also planning for getting placements in those companies.
I always wanted to study a professional course and was interested in Political Science and Sociology. So, law was the best option for me. St. Xavier's University, Kolkata provides you with the education you need to excel in the field of law. The ratio is around 8:55. For example, some subjects are taken by two professors and some are taken by a single professor. Our faculties are highly qualified, most of them having a Ph.D. degree from reputed Universities like National Law University, Delhi, National Law UNiversity, Hyderabad, and the West Bengal University of Juridical Science. They explain the concepts very well and they are also available beyond class hours to clarify a student's doubts. They are also willing to assist students with respect to internships and other opportunities. The Semester exams are difficult. If you think you'll study one night and pass, you're so wrong! These exams actually test your merit so you've got to be very proficient with the subject to score well.
