Yes the hostel facilities are great and the rents are quite fine. I'm not sure about the exact amount but it's very affordable. The rooms are shared by 3 people. There is a common room for the people to watch television.
There are 2 hostels inside the campus for the outstation students, one for girls and another for boys. The University also provide us with a mess which is only for the hostel students. There are 3 types of rooms- 1room 2 student(60000 per sem), 1 room 3 students with attached bathroom(70000per sem) and last but not the least 1room 2students with an attached bathroom(70000per sem). The food is the mess is not very bad but not very good also. None of the rooms are air conditioned for now.
Hostel facilities are excellent considering the other hostels in the city or state per say. 1. Rooms are spacious with two and three sharing. The infrastructure is amazing. Wi-Fi is provided 24 hours. Unlimited water supply in washrooms. Clean and hygienic. Provides a beautiful view of the nature from the balcony. Lift, indoor games and gym facilities are available. 2. It's quote expensive to board the hostel. For two sharing it's 60,000 per semester and for three sharing it's a bit expensive for the attached bathroom facility. 3. You need to apply for the hostel before the university admission to get seats. So as soon as the hostel form comes out fill it without any delay. It's based on first come first serve basis. 4.The mess food is average to good than other hostels in the state. There is variety in the menu. Also special dinner is provided twice a month which is sumptuous.
Hostel has great infrastructure and facilities. There is 24 hours WiFi connectivity. Also there is gym facilities for hostel students. The reading room is another facility a hosteler can look for. The rooms are big, provided with beds, almirah, table and chair. There are also rooms with attached bathrooms.
I have been staying in 3 bed room hostel forwhich I paid approximately Rs 70,000/- per semester. Hence, the total amount I spent on my hostel charges was someway to be around Rs 2,80,000/-. The hostel had good rooms and attached washrooms along with this the premise was well developed with Wifi all around.
I am not a hostilier. But i have heard from my fellow classmates, who reside in the hostel, that the hostel facilities are quiet good. The food provided is very good and healthy. Rooms are big and 2 or 3 persons can share each room. There is a specific timing within one has to enter the hostel.

The campus life here is great. With the vast spread out campus of the college, the field for playing soccer along with basketball court, the campus feels amazing. Talking about the fests, the are in one word awesome. From the fests of Xavier's Business school which are aslo held here, along with the fests of the university as well it is just amazing of an experience. Talking about the clubs, the university support student run clubs and hence there are many ranging from sports division clubs to indoor sports and event cultural and management clubs as well.

Oh, campus life was amazing! There were so many social opportunities and clubs to get involved in. I joined a few clubs that aligned with my interests, and it was a great way to meet new people and make friends. The infrastructure on campus was top-notch too, with modern facilities, libraries, sports facilities, and more. It really enhanced the overall experience.
