How can international candidates apply to St Xaviers Kolkata?

The admission to the international students at SXUK will be given at the beginning of every Academic Year and from the beginning of the course. Currently, St. Xaviers University, Kolkata (SXUK) does not have the facility of lateral entry or admission in the middle of any course. However, provision of lateral entry or admission in the middle of any course may be made under an Exchange Programme which is covered by special collaborative arrangements between SXUK and any Foreign University or Institution. Alumni report that the management at St Xavier's Kolkata told them to not choose HR as a specialisation, as they won't have enough jobs and they won't be responsible for placements. Placements for MBA are pathetic. The big companies like Deloitte, and EY hire students in roles which don't need MBA graduates. The placement officer threatens students and is extremely impolite. The placement cell indulges in malpractices like showing companies which haven't hired a single student in placement brochures. MBA students appear in the same pool placements with BCom, Eco Hons, Eco M.A, BMS students though they pay three times more money and have to pay the compulsory hostel fee. For management education, you'll get the same placement for much lower fees in Kolkata.

Beyond the Campus

The year wise salary for the course which I have choosen is 1lakh and 12 thousand. The tution fee is around 96000. The registration fee , admission fee, lab fee and the other compulsory fees rounds up to 16000.

Semester fee for ug cource is 56000 and yearly 120000 There are lots of scholarships available which every student can apply for but there are some minor criteria which needed to be fulfill nothing hard

The course I'm studying that is BMS , Bachelors in Management Studies, has got some pretty good faculty members. They help us in every possible way. Classroom learning is also very easy to us nowadays. Every teacher is very well qualified & dignified

I paid 93000 during admission ( including admission fee and my first sem fee). And my per semester fee is 58000. Also hostel fees per semester is 75000, also th re are other options available. Hostel costef me total 81500 including security fee.

Acamedics is great as there is lot of strictness regarding studies.

Sxuk- a good choice for your future

Fees is 48500 per semester and you will have to pay a lump sum of like rupees 80000 in the beginning including the admission fees etc. You can avail of scholarships both on merit and on financial background.

The fee is 50000 per semester. The cost to study is high here compared to other colleges or universities. There is no such scholarship facility available and a job was offered to me on campus which was of a sales executive with a stipend of around 13k cash in hand.

PARADIGM OF EXCELLENCE

The fee is a little bit higher in comparison with other colleges but at the same time, the quality of education which is been provided that is more than satisfactory. I didn't apply for any scholarship which was available in our university but if anyone wants to apply for scholarships then he/ she can apply. St Xavier's provides three main scholarships, namely; Loyola Scholarship (100%), Britto Scholarship ( 50%), and SNEGAM scholarship for MBW students. There are various scholarships as well provided to other backward classes and minority communities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus though updated in terms of theory, lacked any practical exposure. Moreover, the faculty needs some improvement especially with regards to teaching using basis of real life exposure. The societies are a mess as they are just friends club for the rich and popular with hardly any opportunity provided to other students.

scholarship is provides on the basis of the father's income. if the father's income is less than 20000 then one is eligible for it. at the start of every semester one has to renew it from the IT office.
