  • There is no emergency ambulance facilities in the college.
  • The orientation program was too long. Classes could have started a bit earlier if it wasn't too long.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I didn't get IT or CS. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:17. Most of the faculty is good and well-equipped with PHD degrees. The term exams haven't happened yet because I entered this college just this year.

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 255000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Every student has to do a 6-month internship. It is compulsory by the college. Internships provide many opportunities for students to enhance their skills. They train them so that they can get a good job down the line.

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible for campus placements in the 7th semester and an internship of 6 months is provided during the 6th semester. Some companies that visited were American Express, Qualcomm, Amazon, etc. The highest package is 46.5 lpa and the average package is 15 lpa. 90% of students were placed.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The fee structure is 13-14 lakhs and it is pretty good for a middle-class family. The college also offers loans for every student which is very helpful. The scholarships for students are OBC, ST and SC.

Campus Life :

The fests held here are very good and the seniors have put a lot of effort into them. The library doesn't have that many books and is pretty small. There is also a sports fest with all the major sports. The Instagram handle of the college is run by the students.

Admission :

The admission process was very smooth. The details are available on the website of iiit una. The teachers are very nice and the students are a good bunch. Document verification took a long time but I got a very good hostel room.

Life at IIIT UNA

Placement Experience:

The campus placement of IIIT UNA is good. The highest package of 2023 in IIIT Una was 60 lpa(off campus) and 45 lpa (on campus) . The average pakage was 15 lpa , and around 90 % of the student got placed, during the placement drive. The average pakage of IT department was 16 lpa. A full semester is dedicated for internship and to earn work experience. Many companies like Google, Facebook, nvidia,Amazon etc appeared into placement drive.I am also targeting such FANG companies.
