I choosen some AP state college through EAMCET and Amrita university also . I got admission in amrita also. But I choosen this college (IIITM) only for brand. I priorly know everything that it have nothing much but brand. You will have a JEE MAINS exam after 12 th based on the cutoff rank (which is changing every year , better check online for that) you will choosen, and your branch is also gets better if your rank is better. I was getting PTU in Puducherry in CSE but I choose this college even though I got ECE but the value of tag and INI is higher for me. I got this college from JEE in CSAB round , since this college is not old , cutoff is not that high.

IIIT worth it or not

Admission:

I aimed for IIT Madras, but bcoz of my ill performance in JEE Advanced ,i couldn't qualfy that ,and through jee mains rank i came to this college,..This college was not that bad.This is overall good in all the perspectives like placements ,campus location,and many more thing. But there is some drawbacks like college infrastructure as the college is operating from its temprary campus. If you are getting any NIT other then NIT's of north east you should opet that college despite of branch. But you Want to study specificly CS or ECE and you are ready to compramise your college then you are welcome. It is batter to opet this college if you are not getting any another NIT or IIIT.It is batter then other GFTI's ,state government college and private college.

I DON'T THINK THERE NEED TO COMPARE THIS COLLEGE TO OTHERS BECAUSE THIS IS A VERY BACKWARD COLLEGE,HERE YOU WILL NOT FIND TIME FOR OTHER ACTIVITIES.SOMETIMES THE FACULTY AS WELL AS TEACHEERS BECAME TOO ANGRY ON SMALL TOPICS. THE LIBRARY IS TOO SMALL AND VERY LESS NUMBER OF BOOKS ARE PRESENT.

Bcoz of IIIT tag,and wrong advice from seniors and wrong and fake reviews from other websites,you will get actual information on this site only If you are not getting any govt. College,then it is better than any private and state govt.colleges,but if you are getting any nit,IIIT , with any of the branch available there,you must go there.

My Experience at IIITM

Admission:

According to my jee mains rank, it was the best college i was getting. Also i am a computer science student and the institute has a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence and Data science, which are currently in high demand. As this is one of a Institute of national importance and being a IIIT, the institute is having a good reputation also the batch size is smaller relatively which is also a plus point.
