The candidate should have passed 10+2 in relevant stream from recognized board

BITS, Hyderabad offers B.E in different specializations as Integrated First Degree Courses. The minimum eligibility is 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects along with proficiency in English.

Students seeking admission to B.E programs must have obtained at least 75% marks in aggregate in PCM in 10+2 with 60% marks in each of the subjects.

Shortlisted candidates have to appear in BITSAT conducted by BITS Pilani. Final admission is granted on the basis of merit in 10+2 and score in BITSAT followed by counseling at BITS Pilani.

• Those who have passed 10+2 earlier than the current year are not eligible to apply. Candidates appearing in 10+2 examination are eligible to apply.

BITSAT Test Format: 

BITSAT is a Computer-Based-Test for the duration of three hours with four sections. Each correct answer will give you three marks while a wrong answer will result in the penalty of one mark. It consists of a total of 4 sections as discussed below:

Preparation of BITSAT Merit List: 

Initially, candidates have to apply on the basis of minimum criteria given by the institute in 10+2. After that shortlisted candidates will be called to take BITSAT. Final admission will be offered on the basis of score in BITSAT. The BITSAT cutoff 2023 is as follows:
