Almost all of our faculty members are either IITians or PhD scholars, they are very good at teaching although there are some cons about this. The overall impression is satisfactory, I would suggest anyone for this university.

I chose this course to opt for civil services examination. I thought this subject would give me knowledge to sit for the civil services. There are 7-8 faculty in our department and each batch consists atleast 25 students.

Academic pressure and academic calendar is somewhat mismanaged.
The administration should be more considerate about Hostel conditions

Our faculty is really good and helpful. Although the the academic pressure is very high, but in the long run it'll help you ultimately. Geology Pol science and Sociology department is one of the best departments of our university.

Faculties biasness towards students who are buttered them I don't like

1.I CHOOSE THIS STREAM CAUSE I love to study this. 2.T:S=1:3 3.They have different teaching method, Project, PPT and good communication is the key. They are highly qualified. 4.Terms are taken very seriously and they are average in terms of difficulty.

Bright history of presidency university. In 1817 presidency college was built. Alumni list are brightest.
Friendly enviroment. Specifically our department is homely. Our professors are amazing.

Dislikes

Coldness of authority is disappointing. Students are always disappointed with them.
We don't have graceful convocation. It had been continued to 2028. But for some unknowing reason, convocations stopped. We, the students are very sad about it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Exams are neither so much difficult nor so much easy. It's totally depends on class lectures and self studies. It's not note based study. You have study a lot which is important for always. And the syllabus also helps you to prepare for NET/SET, CSC examinations.

The course is very interrupted and very well designed. The faculties are also very good. We can easily consult with them in any need. The lab infrastructure is also so good. There are about 20-30 students in every batch and the total number of faculty is about 22-23.

I love to read Bengali books and love to know about Bengali language that's why I choose this course 9 faculty for 140 students All faculty are highly educated and have PhD Each even end sem is followed by 4 months of teaching and odd end sem is followed by 5 months of teaching The exam is not that difficult, if you do regular classes you can write the answers well

Fest are always best in my university because the people around them are very supportive and hardworking

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was good at maths and was eager to explore the world of statistics, so, I chose this course. In every class, there are 20 students at least and our Department has a total of 7 faculties. The faculties are highly qualified obviously and their teaching methods are student-friendly too. The students of Presidency University usually get 4-5months time to prepare for semester exams. Exam patterns and question papers are student friendly too.
