The admission process was swift and no exams were held for it.Just the marks of class 10 and 12 were checked and selection was done accordingly. It took few days for the whole process and the application form can be received from the office

The admission process was a bit lengthy but the admission in charge here, Srijaya Maam, helped me very much. The eligibility criteria includes a 10+2 education. The application form can be found in the college's official website. Application fees is not that much as well and is quite reasonable. The exams are held almost on a monthly basis which, in my opinion, is a great way to stay in touch with what is being taught and have constant revisions.

- The cultural programs are celebrated with great enthusiasm. Everyone enjoys it and there are student body fest every year to experience a lot.

- The placements need to better anyday. Everyone deserves to at least sit for a placement.
- The campus ground is a little small. Playing football and cricket is a tat bit of a problem.

The admission process was very smooth. There are counsellors present for the smooth process and help you out for everything. They answer all your queries and give you the details you need. The eligibility for this course is 60% and above .

NSHM provides means-based and merit-based scholarships to students. There are mainly four types of scholarships that the college provides as financial aid to the students. Below-mentioned is a list of some of the NSHM scholarships applicable to the students of NSHM Institute of Health Sciences, Kolkata along with their respective eligibility criteria:

Academic Scholarship
Merit Based Scholarship available for UG & PG Programs based on their Past Academic Performance. Scholarships will range from 25% fee waiver to 100% fee waiver.
For UG Applicants:
- Original Transcripts of Class XII & Class X are mandatory.
For PG Applicants:
- Original Transcripts from the Undergraduate Program are mandatory.
For Lateral Entry:
- Original Transcripts from Diploma Program is mandatory
Financial Aid Scholarship
The merit cum means based scholarship given by NSHM is assessed solely on the basis of your family’s financial standing and Past Academic Performance.
For Applicants with Family Income <2.5lacs per year:
- Family Income Certificate to be obtained from any “A1 Gazetted Officer.”
- Original Class X,XII or UG Transcripts as applicable.
For Applicant with Family Income between 2.5 to 5 lac per year:
- Original Class X,XII or UG Transcripts as applicable.
- Income Tax Returns for the Financial Year 2017-18, 2018-19 & 2019-20 for your parents/earning members of the family.
- Salary statements for the last 3 months of all parents/earning members.
- Bank Account Statements for the last 12 months of all Parents/earning members of the family.
- Details of the family’s Financial Assets (movable and immovable property, investments, etc)
- For Businesses/Professionals : Income Tax Returns, Bank Statements, Financial Statements (Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet for the last three Financial Years) & Form 26AS

NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata does not offer the BSc in Nursing course. NSHM Kolkata offers B.Sc, BBA, BCA, B.Voc. at the UG level along with B.Pharm. and B.Optom in various specializations. At the PG level, NSHM Knowledge Campus Kolkata offers M.Sc, MHA, MPH, MBA+ HBS Online, MBA+ EduCLaaS, Singapore with 18 Month International paid virtual internship, M.Optom and M.Pharm in different streams.
CAT is not compulsorily required for admission. You can also appear for WBJEMAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT entrance examination for admission.
