Course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensivness is little bit tough in courses. It also depends on course to course like if I tell you about biotechnology then it is not much as hard ...

The placement portal will be available from the 3rd year. You have to pay the placement fees of Rs.4000. Many International companies are visiting the campus every year and they are making a good number of offers. The highest package for the course is 20 Lakh per year and the average is 8 Lakh per year. More than 75 percentage of the students who are applied to placement are getting good jobs. Your chance of getting placement will increase on the basis of mooc courses and the internships you have done. I am planning to get placement

In India, private colleges offer a diverse range of courses spanning various disciplines, from engineering and medicine to arts and management. As with any educational institution, course fees, scholarships, and financial assistance play pivotal roles in determining accessibility and affordability for students. 1. **Course Fees**: The course fees in private colleges in India vary significantly depending on factors such as the reputation of the institution, the popularity of the course, infrastructure, faculty expertise, and location. Generally, private colleges tend to have higher fees compared to government-funded institutions due to better facilities and resources. For example, fees for engineering or medical courses in premier private colleges can range from INR 1,00,000 to several lakhs per annum. 2. **Scholarships**: Many private colleges offer scholarships to meritorious students as a means of promoting academic excellence and attracting talented individuals. Thesis are very import

As a first year student I learn subjects from other desiplines like ECE,CSE,physics,EVS and mechanical drawing.Other than this biotech subjects were quite good and knowledgeable. In lab real world applications are told. There is one subject called programe orientation,it is the only class where real world examples are told and we discuss about future like to go for a job or higher studies. For job we are trained accordingly with soft skills and for higher studies we are trained for exams like GATE,CAT.The first exam comes after 3months , which is mid term. After another 3 months end term exam comes. The difficulty of the exam relay on the subject. Some subjects like math, ece and chemistry are comparatively tougher than other bio related subjects
I chose this course because I had a pretty good interest in the biotechnology field. The labs are well equipped at LPU. The faculties are very supportive in nature. They give very proper guidance to every student. Most of the faculties have completed their Ph.D. and then they are teaching there. So they are pretty much knowledgeable. The exams are taken in many forms. Such as they give CA and then mid-term and end terms.
The placements here at lpu are from all over the world and you will be offered great opportunities both indian and foreign, make sure you work hard during the college to be able to grab the opportunities
I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:
I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-
The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.
Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.
This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.
Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:
