LPU B.Tech Admission 2024: The LPUNEST B.Tech (current schedule) last date of Admission is July 15, 2024 and the dates of entrance exam is July 4 - July 15, 2024.
LPU MBA Admission 2024: The LPUNEST MBA (current schedule) last date of application July 12, 2024 and the last date of admission is July 20, 2024.

LPU Punjab offers admission to the aspirants through the Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test, LPUNEST which is conducted every year in different phases. However, all its UG Hotel Management courses and MPharm (Ayurveda) course are not based on LPUNEST. LPU also accepts merit in National Level Examinations like, JEE Mains, NATA, CMAT, XAT, MAT, GATE, etc. Candidates will appear for LPU counselling after qualifying the required cutoff set by LPU for various courses and their respective examinations. Step 1: Register as a new user

Eligibility for B.Tech in LPU is minimum 60 percent in class 12th and you have to qualify there entrance exam which is LPUNEST. You can give the test in online and offline mode . I have preferred online and the exam was very smoothly taken. I didn't availed any reservation benefits and there are not so.

I didn't take any entrance test. I was through management quota which was costed around 5lakhs for 4 years which excludes hostel fee, food fee, gym, and other extra activities fees. So there is eligibility for the course that are taking if anyone paid, they will provide the seat.

They firstly conducted the lpunext exam by which they selected us and provided the scholarship to us. And online admission process of college is very good. They are providing very helpful guidance to take admission in your intrested field.

Eligibility criteria is that you have minimum 50% marks in physics, chemistry, maths/biology in your 12th standard. LPU hosts its own entrance test that you can fill very easily online. The test is mid level and you can also get scholarship based on your marks.

If you are riding the offline exam that will be connected in a exam center, we have to go to the exam center and write the exam. Eligibility is 12th pass/65% minimum. The process was really smooth and it all went online. There are lpu offices in some cities as well. Anyway, you will be assigned an admission representative or you can call the office and get your queries resolved and the process done. Deadlines for the program are mentioned on the website and can see updates from time to time in the website. The entrance exam level is difficult, some questions are above average level.

Application process was pretty smooth. I just applied for the course and then they called me and told me about further details. After my admission was confirmed they told me about the reporting schedule. After reaching rlthe campus within 3-4 hours all the things were done.so it's pretty straightforward and easy

Can I get an admission in Lovely Professional University without the LPU NEST?
There are two ways to look at this. LPU NEST is a compulsory entrance exam to seek admission to any of the engineering, MBA or any other courses at LPU. You can skip to appear for LPU NEST if you have qualified any national level entrance exam for the course you are applying to. If you have a JEE Main score for BTech or CAT/CMAT etc for MBA you can get direct admission at LPU.
However, in my opinion there are some advantages of appearing for the LPU NEST. If you qualify for it, you will eligible for a scholarship. The admission process is also very simple as everything is uploaded to the portal when you apply for LPU NEST and you just have to get it verified once selected.
LPUNEST is mandatory for some of the courses and is the minimum eligibility criteria as well, that you must fulfil. But for some courses it is only a scholarship test. So it is beneficial to appear for it as it will improve your scholarship as well.
I have scored 58% in class 12. Will I be selected at LPU?
With your 58% score, you can get admission at LPU but in some of their programs. There are various undergraduate programs at LPU with different eligibility criteria. For most of the undergraduate programs, LPU requires candidates to have at least 60% marks in class 12. If you are targeting courses like BTech, your marks will not be sufficient.
However, there are certain courses like BBA, BCA, BCom and more where your percentage may be enough to get selected. Along with your percentage, you have to clear the LPUNEST exam to get selected. You should score well in it to make up for your class 12 marks.
I would recommend you to first choose the course you are interested in and then contact the admission cell to get more details regarding your percentage. With low marks and a good LPUNEST score, you may be able to get admission. LPUNEST will also make you eligible for the scholarship.
