LPU Admission 2025 is ongoing for various UG and PG courses. LPU offers admission to 150+ courses across 300+ specializations at the Undergraduate, Graduate, Diploma, and Doctoral levels across all major disciplines including Management, Engineering, Commerce, Computer Applications, Pharmacy, Design, Law, etc.
- LPU conducts its own entrance exam, LPUNEST, for admission to various programs offered by the university.
- It also accepts JEE Main, CAT, MAT, NMAT, NATA, CUET, XAT, CMAT, and other national-level entrance exams for admission.
- LPU also offers UG and PG distance courses via LPU Distance Education (LPUDE).

LPU Admission Process primarily consists of the LPUNEST exam followed by an interview or group discussion in some courses such as MBA. Admissions to all the LPU courses are based on LPUNEST. Lovely Professional University (LPU) Jalandhar Admission 2025 is open. Every year many students apply for LPU in various UG and PG courses. LPU Punjab offers admission to the aspirants through the Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test, LPUNEST which is conducted every year in different phases. However, all its UG Hotel Management courses and MPharm (Ayurveda) course are not based on LPUNEST. LPU also accepts merit in National Level Examinations like, JEE Mains, NATA, CMAT, XAT, MAT, GATE, etc. Candidates will appear for LPU counselling after qualifying the required cutoff set by LPU for various courses and their respective examinations. Step 1: Register as a new user
- Visit the official website of LPU.
- Click on 'Apply Now' given on top of the home page.
- Register on the LPUADMIT (admission.lpu.in) with basic details such as name, email, mobile no., state, gender, and password). The email ID used during registration will act as the username for the portal and the password needs to be set by the candidate while registering.
- Login to the LPUADMIT with an already created username/ password.
Step 2: Application Process
- Fill out the application form and select the program of your choice.
- Upload the documents.

- Matriculation Marksheet
- Qualifying exam Certificate/ Marksheet. If the applicant is claiming a scholarship based on previous qualifications, he/ she is required to submit the previous qualifications exam certificate/mark sheet. LPUNEST is an online test that acts as a gateway to the program you are interested in. Admission to this program is done based on performance in LPUNEST. In addition, LPUNEST also acts as a Scholarship test and students can avail of huge scholarships based on performance on this test.
- The cost of the Application form and Soft copy of the LPUNEST Kit is INR 1000 (for Boys) and INR 500 (for Girls).

LPU Distance Education Admission

The other college i had chosen over this was upes dehradun.but i had cleared the lpunest exam scholarship test.i had choose lpu over upes because the course fees had much difference in it upes fees is very high as compared to lpu lpu is affordable for me at that time. No i did not got rejected by other college i applied.the fees was very high at that time.i was unable to pay that amount of money on that time. Through lpunest you can apply for my college.you need 60% marks total include english science and maths.you can get more scholarship through jee mains and you can take direct admission too.

I chose this college over the other because it was one of the top colleges providing best placement opportunities in the computer science field. I did not get rejected but i was even selected in a govt college in pune but because of placements, i chose LPU. You can get admissions by online means or coming to the university and visiting admission block. If you have above 75 percent in your 12th results, you can get admission here.

I applied to many other private universities and some goverment colleges for other courses like amity university, GNDU,CU, JP group of institutions but i chose LPU for its safe campus, placement opportunities, and college life. No i didn't face anny rejection from any other college. You can apply online from the university site. You need to have above 75 percent in PCM to apply fpr computer science and any major central entrance exams like JEE are accepted for admission and you even get a scholarship based on your score.

I choose LPU for its strong curriculum excellent placement opportunitties and modern infrastructure. It offered scholarship and a robust industry connection. i applied to MIT Pune and Amity but choose LPU due to better financial aid and career support. The admission process via LPU NEST was smooth and efficient.

I applied to several private colleges all of which had strong reputation in my field of study. Ultimately I chose LPU for these reason : Have well equipped labs, libraries, and sports facilities. Have high placement rate. Have less fee structure as compare to other private university.

Can I get an admission in Lovely Professional University without the LPU NEST?
There are two ways to look at this. LPU NEST is a compulsory entrance exam to seek admission to any of the engineering, MBA or any other courses at LPU. You can skip to appear for LPU NEST if you have qualified any national level entrance exam for the course you are applying to. If you have a JEE Main score for BTech or CAT/CMAT etc for MBA you can get direct admission at LPU.
However, in my opinion there are some advantages of appearing for the LPU NEST. If you qualify for it, you will eligible for a scholarship. The admission process is also very simple as everything is uploaded to the portal when you apply for LPU NEST and you just have to get it verified once selected.
LPUNEST is mandatory for some of the courses and is the minimum eligibility criteria as well, that you must fulfil. But for some courses it is only a scholarship test. So it is beneficial to appear for it as it will improve your scholarship as well.
I have scored 58% in class 12. Will I be selected at LPU?
With your 58% score, you can get admission at LPU but in some of their programs. There are various undergraduate programs at LPU with different eligibility criteria. For most of the undergraduate programs, LPU requires candidates to have at least 60% marks in class 12. If you are targeting courses like BTech, your marks will not be sufficient.
However, there are certain courses like BBA, BCA, BCom and more where your percentage may be enough to get selected. Along with your percentage, you have to clear the LPUNEST exam to get selected. You should score well in it to make up for your class 12 marks.
I would recommend you to first choose the course you are interested in and then contact the admission cell to get more details regarding your percentage. With low marks and a good LPUNEST score, you may be able to get admission. LPUNEST will also make you eligible for the scholarship.

Does LPU offer admission on the basis of CLAT exam?
LPU is one of the premier education institutes in India known for its courses offered in various disciplines. Though admission to all the courses is based on the LPUNEST exam, the university also accepts other entrance exams like GATE, JEE Main, CUET and more to provide admission.
Other than the LPUNEST, the university also accepts CLAT scores to provide admission to its BA-LLB and BBA-LLB (Hons.) integrated courses.
