Course Curriculum Overview:
I think curriculum should be more advances and should be more praticaly based and with ongoing trends . The exam frequency is good as they take test for every 2 units so one should prepare well and mid term and end term exam also.

- I like the campus infrastructure the buildings are well designed and have a/c classrooms hence the class experience is also good.
- There are many modes of transportation within the campus like cycles and e rickshaws to travel in the campus ad the campus size is huge.

- The price of things inside the campus is much higher than the things you get outside from the price of stuff at the food stalls even if there are many stalls they charge surplus amount.
- Its a strict vegetarian campus hence you can’t have non vegetarian food inside the campus.

In the first year i feel they just do the basic revision of the previous topics learnt in 11th and 12 th. Have heard seniors telling the you learn much about the core topics in 2nd year, from third your onward they teach you about placement and inteviews and CA takes place often like 1-2 minimum of CAs are there and exam of CA is easy.

I selected this course because of my interest towards space. The teaching method is really good in the university. The reaching time of teachers is 5 mins before from the class time. And if any teacher is on leave then that class is held on saturday. If we study better then its not difficult to pass the exams.

The faculty members are highly qualified. All of them have Phd's(for aerospace engineering). The faculty student ratio is approximately 1:45. Their teaching method is interesting but not very different from other universities. The exams are conducted very often in a semester. We have 2 CA's before midterm and 2 after. Feels a bit hectic

What is the fees for B.Tech Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering at LPU?
LPU is well renowned for its flagship B.Tech courses. It offers various Engineering specialisations including Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering. The fees for each semester for B.Tech in Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering is INR 1,40,000. Apart from this, students also need to pay exam fees for each semester which costs INR 4,500. To provide financial support to the students, LPU offers scholarships which cover 38 - 48% of their total semester fees.
I scored 138 in the LPUNEST exam. Am I eligible for the BTech aerospace engineering program offered by LPU?
BTech aerospace engineering is one of the premier engineering disciplines at LPU. The course is designed for students interested in designing aircraft, spacecraft and more. They are also exposed to testing prototypes and assembling aircraft parts like airframes and wings.
For admission to the BTech aerospace engineering program at LPU, you have to clear the LPUNEST entrance exam or CUET or JEE Main exam. As you have already qualified LPUNEST, you should check whether you are eligible for the course. The general eligibility criteria are 60% marks in class 12 with physics, maths, chemistry and English as main subjects.
With LPUNEST cleared, you should also opt for the scholarship. You can get up to 48% off on your program fee through the scholarship.
Is LPU the best for aerospace engineering?
My sister graduated with a B.Tech Aerospace degree from LPU in 2020. This answer is based on her personal experience.
The LPU administration takes good care of its students’ needs, and provides various cultural and academic programs for them. My sister’s batch of 2016 was the first Aerospace batch at LPU. There were around 55 students in her batch in total.
The Aerospace faculty is dedicated towards the students’ welfare. They work hard and regularly motivate their students to publish research papers. Moreover, they make every effort to open up great internship opportunities for their students.
Aerospace is a relatively new field in India, and many people don’t know much about it. So it is the students’ responsibility to work hard if they want a bright career in Aerospace Engineering. The paid internships for Aerospace are much fewer as compared to CSE.
LPU is excellent for exposure and growth, but you should first consider the universities in South India for courses in Aerospace. As far as North India is concerned, LPU and CU both offer B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering.
