The admission process is not that much complicated..there are some basic criteria which needs to be fulfilled in order to proceed further depending on the course u are willing to do ...After that u have to fill the admission form and required to clear the entrance exam of the university..U can directly get admission on the basis of your IIT JEE results.

For b.com eligibility was simply 70% in 12 boards exam. Application forms , fee structure and dates were mentioned on the official site on the college. Exam happens 2 time per semester one mid semester of 50 marks and 100 marks final exam ,

For entrance UPES have their own entrance exam called UPESEAT. Besides that IIT JEE scores are also considered and if one reaches the advanced level. They get direct admissions. Otherwise management quota options are also available and these are the ways one can enter UPaeS University.

Admission:
Fir admission process you have to undergo upesmet aptitude exam which contains the same syllabus as cat after that you have to undergo a personal interview round where a faculty with expertise will take your interview and after the whole process on your mail id you will receive the offer letter whether you have been selected or not .

The admission process was quite easy. We have admission department in UPES to guide the prospective students throughout the admission process. Application form is available on the my upes website. And the fee structure and application dates are also mentioned therein. And the entrance exam dates are flexible as per the student's convenience.

50% marks are needed and it gives scholarship on the basis of jee mains and cuet scores. The application form and every detail is available on the official website of the college . Reservations for girls and ews students is provided. On the basis of difficulty level the frequency and timing are okay. Fees criteria should be checked.

The application process is very simple and if I talk about me then I hadn't given any entrance exam for admission but there is an entrance exam present for admissions. The admission process is completely online and even if you visit the campus then also they will give you very well.

- The overall Infrastructure of the college is too notch, it's like you're visiting a film city.
- The placement facilities of the college is great, even though my course didn't offer any placements but courses like B. tech and B. Des offer a placement rate of over 75%.
Dislikes
- The fee structure is ludicrous, a bit too expensive for the working class but it's kind of worth it.
- The overall environment of the college is not for the good kids, you'll have to act like a grown-up to make a living there outside of the college.
Admission:
Anyone can get into B.sc in UPES as the eligibility isn't too constraining. Everything about the admission process can be completed online. I took admission during the covid period so the process of taking admission in the college was all online. No exams, only interviews.

- The upes environment is very good and teachers were also teaching very nice way. Faculty also discuss case study with the students so from this we clear our concepts also. Seniors were also helping in this university.
- University also provide many extra course which student can opt for it also.
Dislikes
- Management of this university is very slow. Some faculty are not teaching upto the mark. Few things they do not brief the students carefully and then they expect from student to sumbit in right way.
- Like i choose bba in analystics and big data but they do not teach this subject in 1 and 2 semster.

We have to fill the form from the website upes.org and pay 1300 amount for registration. They take admission from college entrance exam, 12 grades, cuet grade. If we choose from college entrance we also give interview.

They check your CBSE boards result or your JEE MAINS result. You can find the application form on the college site. There are reservations for SC/st/obc/ews. The entrance exam is of easy difficulty. In my opinion they should make the entrance exam more difficult.

UPES Academic Scholarships
This scholarship will be awarded to all students who apply for admission to undergraduate (UG) programs, except the Global Pathway Program (GPP), and who passed the 12th CBSE Board, ICSE Board, or any State Board Exam (listed under "COBSE"). However, only students who have met the requirements outlined below for the first year and any subsequent renewals, if applicable, will be eligible to receive this scholarship. There will only be a limited number of scholarships available.
25 seats will be reserved for the ward of Armed forces including Paramilitary personnel (Serving and Retired).
The scholarship worth up to 30% of tuition, will only be issued if the acceptance fee is paid before the deadline specified in the entrance offer letter.
The scholarship will be awarded in the range from 10% to 30% on tuition fees of 1st & 2nd semesters only.
The total number of scholarships available is up to 2700 (out of these all female students who score more than 60% in class 12th, will get scholarships).
The scholarship will be given in the order of Merit.

For Example: If a student scores 80.7% or 80.9% in class 12th, his/her percentage will be rounded off to 80% and will get a scholarship on tuition fees for 1st year only.
UPES Bonafide Uttarakhand Student Scholarships
If the students are Uttarakhand Bonafide residents, they are eligible for a 30% concession on tuition fee subject to fulfillment of the following conditions and submission of supporting documents:
- ‘Sthai Niwas Praman Patra’ Certificate, along with the admission form
- Income Certificate (proving that your gross family income is not more than INR 12 lakh per annum, along with a copy of the last income tax return filed).
UPES Fellowship for M.Tech & M.Des Students
- A stipend of up to INR 12,400 per month for as long as they can remain registered with the university will be considered for students enrolled in the M. Tech program in the academic year 2024–2025 who have a valid GATE score of 75 percentile and above.
- All Students will also be eligible to avail a grant up to a sum of INR 50,000 towards outcome-based research as per rules and regulations framed for the purpose by the University.
UPES Scholarships for MBA
- All applicants to conventional UPES MBA courses, except the Global Pathway Program (GPP), who have completed graduation from any accredited university test (listed under AIU) are eligible to be considered for this grant. However, only students who have met the first-year requirements outlined below will be eligible to receive this scholarship. There isn't another renewal. There are just a few spots available for the scholarship.
- Scholarship recipients will receive 20% of their first and second-semester tuition; however, the scholarship will only be granted if the acceptance fees are paid by the deadlines specified in the entrance offer letter.
- The total number of scholarships available is up to 75 seats. The scholarship will be awarded as 20% of tuition fees of 1st & 2nd semesters only.
- There is no renewal as it is applicable for 1st year only.

UPES Scholarship Based On Academic Performance
For Second Year Onwards: The academic scholarship policy is applicable for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The scholarship will be awarded to 10% of the total students enrolled in each of the programs or 1 student whichever is higher. The 10% will be rounded off to the nearest next number. The scholarship policy for the year 2024 is based on the meritorious performance of the students in the academic year 2024 is as under:

UPES Alumni Scholarships
The scholarship is applicable on only a 50% tuition fee waiver for the full duration of the program. Under this scheme, no other scholarship will be offered or clubbed with this scholarship. No alumni fee will be charged and the renewal of the scholarship for the subsequent year will be only based on attaining a minimum of 8 SGPA /CGPA with no backlog and no disciplinary cases registered or reported against the student. The eligibility for this scholarship is:
- Applicable to all Alumni who graduated from 2019 onwards. For any Alumni who graduated before 2019, the Department of Alumni Relations will present the case to the scholarship committee for special approval.
- Alumni have to meet the notified eligibility criteria for AY 2024-25 for the respective programs.
UPES Sports Scholarships
UPES has introduced a new scheme of providing scholarships for talented sports persons. This scholarship started with the aim of developing a sports culture in the university. The criteria for new and existing students are tabulated below:

UPES Employee Ward Scholarship
- The employee will be eligible to get the fee concession for 2 children.
- Amounts equal to 75% of the semester cost (including tuition and academic service fees) for the first year of the program will be covered by the fee concession. The employee will pay the remaining portions of the cost directly.
- For continuing 75% of fee concession in the subsequent years, the ward of the employee, the ward shall ensure that he/she is not involved in any disciplinary case and will have to abide with all the rules and regulations of the University.
- For the duration that his or her ward is enrolled in the University's program, the Employee will remain employed by the University. The ward of the employee will be responsible for paying the full amount of fees due to the university once the employee leaves or is terminated from employment.
UPES Employee Sibling Ward Scholarship
- The sibling of the employee will be eligible to get the fee concession for 2 children.
- The fee concession will be given for an amount equivalent to 50% of the Semester Fee (Inclusive of Tuition and Academics Service fee) of the program for the first year. All other components of the fee will be paid directly by the sibling of the employee.
- For continuing 50% of fee concession in the subsequent years, the ward shall ensure he/she is not involved in any disciplinary case and will have to abide with all the rules and regulations of the University.
- If the employee resigns or is terminated from the services, the ward of the sibling shall be liable to pay the full amount of fee payable to the University post his/her exit from the University.

The examination pattern of UPES PAT is given below:
The UPES DAT 2024 exam will be held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The duration of the UPES DAT 2024 entrance exam for B. Des is one hour (60 minutes)
Kandoli Campus and Bidholi Campus are the institutes which provide B.Tech. courses. Both are decent campuses. Each of them has highly professional faculty who are PhD holders from prestigious institutes.
