Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum of this course is very interesting. This is one of the main reasons why I have choosen this course. Even in the 1st semester we will be able to understand our future and real world applications of this course. The end term exam is done at the end of every semester which difficulty can vary from easy to hard. There is mid term exams and two reappear or improvement exams in a semester

Internships Opportunities :

I have applied for an internship in a milk products cooperative company named 'MILMA', which is situated in Kerala. I am looking forward to work under the quality assurance department to learn more about the dependency of money with quality

Placement Experience :

The placement portal will be available from the 3rd year. You have to pay the placement fees of Rs.4000. Many International companies are visiting the campus every year and they are making a good number of offers. The highest package for the course is 20 Lakh per year and the average is 8 Lakh per year. More than 75 percentage of the students who are applied to placement are getting good jobs. Your chance of getting placement will increase on the basis of mooc courses and the internships you have done. I am planning to get placement

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tution fees for the course is Rs.120000. You can attain your scholarships either on the basis of LPU NEST or on the basis of your 12th standard marks. The maximum scholarship you can earn is 50 percentage of the tution fees that is Rs.60000. The scholarship can be dependent on which time you apply for the course. For this course have more than 75 percentage placement is available

Campus Life :

The main annual event that occurs in the university is ONE INDIA, ONE WORLD. There will be participents from all over the university on the basis of your state or your country. Good points in the event will increase your academic performance. Many sports clubs, gym, and other academic clubs are available in the university. The most of the student faculty interactions are through the portal ums, LPU touch or by LPU live

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel room will be provided with a wooden bed stand and an Almera. You can choose between appartment, hostel room or dormetrary. The hotel fees is 90000 for ac without mess. For standard mess 30000 will be added. But better not to take mess because many stores are available outside the hostel. Hospital service is also available for the hostelers. For PG you can search in the areas of Law gate, Phagwara and Dekoha. If you are staying PG your average expenditure for one month will be around Rs.13000.

Hostel Fee : INR 90000 per year

Admission :

The eligibility of the course is 12th standard. Application forms are available in the website 'lpu.in'. Application fees is 500 rupees for the entrance exam. You have to get atleast 150 out of 450 in the entrance exam as cut off. The question difficulty is medium. You will get scholarships on the basis of your marks on the entrance exam or on the basis of your 12th standard marks

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was doing bachelor of Technology in computer science. Starting from the classroom to the computer labs , everything is available and well maintained. You learn programming and languages with the help of faculty and for every student there is computer available with all equipments. In a week, there are 3 days of computer lab practice and 3 days for classwork. The professor tests and skills very often and if there is any inefficiency , he/she will help you to correct it. Placement Experience:

In- campus placement is not that good it is below average as they have taken way too many admissions their placements are not even to rely on they dont provide with good companies coming for selection average placement in CSE in 3-4 lpa they focus on theoretical knowledge more than the practical knowledge so no students are ready for the placement criterias and at last they fail as predicted

SLIET: A Modern Gurukul

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem for the degree and 6th for the diploma and 4th sem for the Mtech Students. Placements are about average and this year 2023 the placement ratio is growing faster and about 70 percent of the students from each branch got at least an average package. 20LPA is the highest in the history of SLIET offered by Microsoft. I have already been placed in HCL and Cognizant-like MNCs. So focus on the only job now.

LPU is really nice

Students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester. No of the companies visited in the CSE branch is unlimited and each company provide all type of packages starting from 3 lakhs to 20 lakhs. My review

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Chitkara. The placement procedure starts in the 6th semester of our college and goes until you are graduated (8th semester). Need to mention that Chitkara holds a record of 100% placement. Every student gets placed here. Companies offer anything between 3lpa - 12lpa. But you need to study a bit for getting placed. Note that college cannot force a company to recruit students. Companies recruit based on tests and interviews that they conduct. My plans after getting a degree will be to work for the company I've been placed in.
