LPU Placements 2024: Highest Package, Average Package & Top Recruiters
LPU Placements 2024 final report is yet to be disclosed. As per media reports & other sources, the top 10% of the participating batch received an average package of INR 12.3 LPA whereas the B.Tech batch achieved the highest package of INR 50 LPA (Offered by Phone Pe). Earlier in the 2023 placement drive, the highest package stood at INR 54.75 LPA. 1100+ students received packages of INR 10 LPA & above in 2023. A total of 1107 recruiters participated in the placement drive. Some of the top recruiters of LPU included Amazon, Cognizant, Infosys, Adobe, Microsoft etc.

- Our college has a vast campus. With many grounds .
- Our college also has many food court and also has many and big grounds.
Dislikes
- On main festivals like Diwali and Holi there is very less days of leave.
Placement Experience:
From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Many big companies such as Google, Amazon, Flipkart, and Adobe visit our college. The highest package is 3 crores and the average is 6-7 LPA. Mainly students get placed. After my degree, I will take placement.
Likes
- Infrastructure is so big and good that you have every labs here to do practical work
- Workshop are provided to students to prepare for their events or projects.
Dislikes
- Some faculty are not so good, they just read the ppts and go ahead.
- Security is very strict. They threatened students by UMCs ( Unfair means cases) in which your scholarship may get cancelled.
Placement Experience:
From passing 2nd year onwards students are eligible for the placements classes which costs around 10-12k till 4th year. I'm from mechanical field so the highest package is around 18 lakhs and average package goes to 4-6 lakhs.

- if you want to pass, one night study before exam will be more than enough.

- college costs too much and teachers is unbelievably boring.
- rude and unsupportive faculty(except few faculty)

From 6-7 semester students become eligible for internship and if they want to continue with that company they can. Amazon, Google, Microsoft...etc Companies visits and About 100+ companies visits every year for placements. Highest pachage of last year was 64 LPA.

- The first thing that I like about the college is that they not only priorities academics but also sports and overall development
- The second thing that is astonishing is that the whole environment, as I live in hostel

- The thing that i dislike the most is that we have to change our class and even building after each and every class.
Placement Experience:
To be honest, placements are good because here most of the students don't opt for placement, either they pursue their family business or High studies or any government jobs, so it's very easy to get into the top 10% of the students and can easily get an average package of 8-10 lacs per annum.

- UMC is little bit concerned they have hard rules for it

Lots of companies are comming throughout the year almost 5000 + Google ,Amazon , Flipkart, Capgemini, Adobe, etc college provide lots of opportunities so that you can direct placed in any company lot's of internship offer also

I think those who really deserve to get the good placement, even this year when everyone is talking about the recession LPU's students got placement of 52lpa, 39lpa, and much more, and yes if the student will increase and the job seats will not then there will be an increase in unemployability

- lack of personalized attention and student faculty ration is also less high as campus is having more than 50000 students who are studying there.

Placements are pretty well in our college and about more than 1000s of company visit our campus annually and almosy 60-70% students are placed in these companies at an average package of 5 lakh .but you have to register for placement seprately

Placement in my university was very good . Many big companies came to our university for placements . At our university the highest package was 3 crore and average package was 12.5 lakh it is very good. Percentage of students getting placement is 90% . My plan after getting the degree was finding a good placement . After some years off working I wanted to my own clothing brand .

I am a second year B.Tech CSE student at LPU. Here is the official data for 2023 B.Tech CSE placements at the university-
- The average package for B.Tech CSE/IT was INR 7 LPA in 2023.
- The 2023 branch/course-wise highest package is not available, but the overall highest package was INR 54.75 LPA.
- During the 2023 placements, a B.Tech CSE student received a job offer of INR 52.08 LPA from Microsoft.

Which gives better placement in cse, LPU or KIIT?
Both KIIT and LPU are considered as top private universities for engineering. But I can only speak in favour of LPU as I have done my education at LPU.
I interacted with my friends at LPU who have done their BTech CSE. More than 500+ recruiters visit the campus for placements every year. BTech CSE placements at LPU recorded INR 42 lakhs as the highest salary package. Additionally, LPU had 110+ recruiters from top colleges like IITs, IIMs, and NITs. The highest monthly stipend for any kind of internship at LPU is around 80k.
Tanya Arora, a final year BTech CSE student secured INR 42 lakh job offer from Microsoft. Amazon also offered INR 28 lakhs package. Utkarsh secured a position at Google HQ in Silicon Valley with a package of INR 1 crore.
This I hope proves my point that LPU is better for CSE than KIIT.
Is placement of Chitkara University better than Thapar University, CGC Landran, Chandigarh University and Lovely University?
Since I am doing BTech from LPU and I did research a lot about these colleges before enrolling in LPU, I can say LPU is better in terms of placements.

Can I get an honest review on LPU University placements in engineering?
I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-
The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.
Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.
This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.
Which is better MBA in terms of placement - Manipal University, SRM University, KIIT University, LPU or Amity University?
I have done my MBA from LPU. LPU is one of the top private universities in India. The placements in LPU are what make it stand out from the rest of the universities.
- MBA students are offered an average package of INR 4–6 LPA in more than 100 companies.
- More than 550 students got placed in a single day by Cognizant, not once but twice, which makes it around 1000 students.
- In 2019, 3 engineering students were offered INR 28 LPA from Amazon.
- A BBA student from LPU was placed at the Royal Bank of Scotland.
Which is good in terms of placement and overall academics: LNCT Bhopal or LPU Jalandhar?
I am an alumnus of LPU, but my honest opinion is based on my personal experience. LPU offers good infrastructure, faculty, academics, and placements. Though placements depend on the students’ effort and dedication, it is also a college’s responsibility to bring in good companies.
IBM, Microsoft, Google, Infosys, Bharti Airtel, Maruti, Larsen & Toubro, DLF, Nokia Siemen, Indian Navy, HDFC Bank, Ranbaxy, Royal Bank of Scotland, Tata, Wipro, Accenture, Convergys, Reliance, Dell, Taj Hotels, Provogue, Nestle, Coca Cola, Barclays, Deloitte, etc. are some of the companies that visit the LPU campus for hiring.
Moreover, LPU is positioned 50th in the NIRF 2023 Engineering Rankings.
Based on all these reasons, and out of my own positive experience of studying at LPU, I would recommend the university for higher studies.
Which is better for placements, Presidency University Bangalore or LPU?
Presidency University is a relatively newly established institute in 2013 whereas LPU was founded in 2006. LPU was ranked 99th for the overall by NIRF and Presidency University Bangalore was awarded with University of the year 2018 by EduTech review.

- The maximum number of students are recruited by Cognizant, Tech Mahindra and Capgemini followed by Bosch, Amazon and Wipro.
- Moreover, students are also trained for various skills and aptitude to maximize their placement possibilities in collaboration with various organisations.
Since Presidency University is relatively newly established, when compared to LPU, thus the alumni network and organisation connect is not that strong as of now. Faculty at both institutes are highly qualified and impart in-depth knowledge. A student with diligence can excel in any field.
