Course Curriculum Overview :

As i am a graphic desginer and also was so much interested in coding since i was 13 so thts why i chose the dip in computer science and engg and i chose to do diploma because i wanted to be in this as soon as i could...and if we talk about my course it helps me alot to get a reality check of the work load of a software enginer...and teaching methods are just finee...of this coursee rest you hve to do self study in every course and timming exams should be improved because exams happen frequently after 1-2 days we dont get much time to prepare and sometimes 2 exams in a day..

Class Size : 72Course Fees : INR 50000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yearly fees is 100000 50k per semester..for diploma in computer science engg but you can get LPU Nest scholarship to get the scholarship upto 50%. Which can help you to get some discount according to your academics and also by passing the lpu Nest exam

Campus Life :

I would say the lpu have the best campus life like in terms of social aspects and club involvements and many student runs social groups and clubs for students to help them to build a good and strong public profile for free!!

Admission :

I chose this college over other colleges because this is the only college which provides the better fascilities for my course in my city and other colleges like CT doesnt provide good fsacilities for this course thts why i chose this course and the admission process is so easy you can do it online by sitting at your home they will guide you alot during admission but not after admission ????

Faculty :

Faculty overall is really good some of the teachers are v helpful they even plan doubt classes in every weekend to solve ur doubts...and they help u to get the good internships and certifications also shares their personal experience , so that we can get the best internships and certifications which can help us to get good jobs in future..but there is also a dark side of faculty where they dont let u pass if you will ask them much questions in class related to the course and also keeps personal grudges with the students.. Exams are difficult as well as easy in mid terms most probably we get easy ques so that we can get an idea of end term what questions will be in end term examination.

Night Life :

There are alot of hangout spots inside the campus which are mostly 24 hours available you dont need to go outside of ur college to get anything or to hmagout outside with ur friends like they have hotels , gaming areas , pool area , cafes , street food carts etc.. and at every 100m you will find a guard and strictness is alot in compus they will give minnimum 20 days suspension if u got cought doing some indisciplinary actions..

Campus placement is very good highest is around 22 lakhs and students start getting placement in final year of btech and average placement is 4.5 lpa some of major companies are tata mahindra amazon and Microsoft which offered placement around 45% students get placed my personal plans is to do btech from thapar university in patiala

Life at SLIET

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is very interesting. You get more practical experiments and hands-on experience in your diploma. There are more than enough teachers or faculty for their respective courses except for a diploma in civil for now. Most of the faculty members have done their master's or Ph.D. from IITs or NITs. Terms exams are not that hard but need to have your basics right.
