I have an interest in Computer science and It is at the top for job opportunities too. So I have chosen It as my course. Faculty are nearly 26 for all four-year students ie faculty students ratio is nearly 26:150 and Many faculty are nearly have completed their PHD. Exams are two class tests, one mid and one end exam for a semester.
The course is very interesting to learn and it's the top course in the present situation. And the outcomes of this course are very important in today's scenario. The faculty is amazing and they teach with passion.
The course curriculum is pretty up to date, though this mainly varies from branch to branch. The quality of education is better than most of the other engineering colleges in India.90% of the faculty is exceptionally good, having high qualifications from reputed institutions and tonnes of teaching experience.
Course curriculum is excellent. Academics section is also very good, faculties are best. They are very helpful. They are really supportive. The syllabus is updated
No during 1st year. About 2nd year i dont know since we couldn't attend ofgline classes due to covid-19. So yes that is national institute of technology Meghalaya in india in shillong specifically.
Fee structure is definitely feasible as compared to other NITs and IITs. Besides the Institute does provide what they ensure in the fee structure. Tuition fees for B. Tech students is Rs 62500, and other institutional fees are Rs 7500. The hostellers pay another Rs 24000 for hostels and mess, which is later adjusted according to holidays, etc.
Its not that expensive. For the st/sc people we do not have to give tution fee i, e its 0 for us and we only have to pay for the hostel (who wants to stay in hostel) and mess only. For each semester, we have to pay around 31000 for st and sc. For obcs, its around 65000 per sem and for general around 100000 i guess.
Fee structure is very expensive concerning the infrastructures and facilities provided to the students. The cost is high for accomodation as well as mess facility. Facilities such as Wifi, water and electricity also cost more.
Our college fee is 78 thousand for a semester it is quite more to pay for our college ,since the college remitte the fee according to tge annual income of student's family it is feasible ,if fee is not remmuted then it is expensive to read in our college
