We have to take an entrance i.e. JEE MAIN and we have to qualify it as per our category like SC, ST, OBC-NCL etc. Then we have to apply for counselling held by the JOSAA and then we will get a seat as per our priority order. For NIT Meghalaya after getting a seat in JOSAA we have to go to NIT Meghalaya's official website and we have to fill out the forms given for the admission process and pay the fees. The improvement I want to see in the admission process is the process is way longer.

Eligibility and how to join NITM, The process is the same for all NITs up to the counselling process. First, we have to clear JEE MAIN as per the cutoff set for different categories i.e. according to the reservation categories like SC/ST, OBC-NCL, EWS. After clearing that we have to apply for counselling held by JOSAA and then you will get allotted as per your preference and rank by the end of the counselling process the certificates required for this counselling are given on the Official website of JOSAA. Then as per my college, there will be the process. Now we talk about NITM, the process is we have to pay the remaining fees, i.e. by subtracting the fees which we pay in JOSAA, and have to fill out a Google form in which you give your personal and family information, a seat confirmation letter that you get from JOSAA, category certificate and other required one's which are given in the official website of NITM during the admission process and we have to submit them offline.

First, we should write jee mains exam. In that, we should get above the 95 percentile for the eligibility of the course. On the college website, we can find the application form, application fees, and application dates from there we can find. We should check the website every time this is important to see in the admission process.
We need to attempt JEE MAIN for admission to this college. The admission process is conducted by JoSSA. You can apply for JEE MAIN exam through the official website of jee main. And the application and its fees are mentioned on the website. We can have reservations based on caste.
Firstly the quality of teaching in NITs is much better than many other engineering colleges in India. It may not live to your expectations but in reality it has the best faculty training the some of the smartest kids of the nation. In TLR criteria (Teaching Learning and Resources), NIT-M ranked 11 in India. (Source: National Institutional Ranking Framework, MHRD)
The College syllabus is updated except for some small parts. I believe that there are various other subjects that shouldn't be made compulsory for everyone, students should be given an option to choose a subject of their choice. Industrial exposure is poor in our college and is added by not having a permanent campus. The facilities gave a lot of work and not a very well teaching is provided, in my opinion the exam assessment pattern should also be changed and students should be given more time to explore and develop individual skills.
