Faculties in NIT, Meghalaya are very supportive they always give there best to help students in understanding topics, very humble you can ask your any doubt at any time, provide series of questions that help in exam time
Faculty have chambers in college building we can meet them there and we have their mobile no. Also from college website to ask them if they are free and available. Faculty have there timetable so we can contact them in between their their free periods and after classes.
All the faculty members are either M. tech or Ph.D. graduated from renowned universities and IIT's. They are hard-working and always there to clarify the doubts of students. Most of the teachers are a lot more interested in teaching and are teaching as a passion rather than for earning money so they know how to create interest in the classroom and make sure everyone student is mentally present in the class.
In my course every semester 15 or 16 lecturers was their. And every lecturers with the average age is approx 51.And their qualification is also good they are expert in own field.During class every student understand theory practical everything.Maximium proffecer hold certification in own field like reserch. Some proffecer also provide knowledge in practical field.
Faculty here are good but some faculty are not good but few members are very good in the subject and their classes will be interesting but some assistant professors are not good but education will be fine
Most of the faculties are capable enough of bringing their point and knowledge to the forefront, for us to grab easily. Their style of teaching is commendable as most of them are qualified from abroad or from India with great experience. However, even the Moon isn't spotless and flawless. There are a few faculties who are hard nut to crack and very difficult to understand their teaching.
All faculties in my college are doctorate and have a good amount of experience in their respective fields. They know what to teach and how to teach on the basis of the current market scenario. Every faculty has good research skills which they tell to every student.
Yes, teachers are experienced and they also help students who are average. But not all the teachers are same. There may be some teachers who focus only on completing the syllabus instead making us understand the su ject better. But overall teachers are very helpful. There are teachers who teach us according to industrial experience and that is quite impressive. Also they help students who wants to do their personal projects.
The faculty is mostly young over here, so they understand the problems of students. They are ready to help all the time. But some of them are not good. The faculty here motivate you to take part in competitions outside the college. They also motivate for projects as well.
Faculty are of good quality.but at the same time as this NIT is in a temporary campus,so number of faculty is too less. Some are helpful towards students and motivates them for research and projects.
