Placement packages in NITC are lucrative with students become eligible for placement interviews by semester 7.Last year the highest package soared to approximately 80 Lakhs per annum and an average of 7-10 lakhs per annum and many renowned companies like Google, cisco, etc. participated in placement programmes. For my case I'm looking forward for higher education

So, around the seventh semester at NIT Calicut, the whole placement buzz kicks in. You've got the big names like Google and Microsoft rolling onto the campus, throwing job offers left and right. The numbers vary each year, that's the drill. Talking about packages, it's a mixed bag – highest, average, depends on the company and the gig. Some folks score sweet deals, making the whole placement hustle quite the ride. A good chunk of students secures placements; the Placement Cell does its thing, bringing in companies and making it work. Post-degree plans? Well, looking at options that align with my studies – might dive into more learning, hit the job scene, or maybe explore a research gig. Gotta put these skills to good use, you know?

The placement starts from the 7th semester onwards. A minimum CGPA requirement is asked for by some companies. TATA and BAJAJ offered company placement the previous year Goldman Sachs offered internships this year The percentage of students differs according to the branches. Computer science has 100% placement. But, In lower branches like biotechnology has no branch placements. I'm planning to go aboard for MS.
For years 2021-2022, From the second year onwards we can do internships. There is a chance to get preplacement during the third year. most people get a placement at the end of the fourth year. The highest package is 67.62 LPA, Average pacakge is 12.58 LPA, The median package is 9.3 LPA, The number of Companies visited is 197. The placement percentage is 95.45%.
Ours is a National College. People from different background from different parts of india do come to study in college.I can't say that The Faculty in our College is too good. But they are quite okay. The faculties of the first year Maths are too poor. Most of them are ADHOC. Some Faculty treat the students as their own children, being liberal to them, while some at the same time just know how to teach, not to mingle with the students. Rest all branches dont have that much placement opportunity as compared to CSE.
My sister completed her B.Tech from NIT Calicut a few years back. As a female student, she had a bitter experience at this college. Here are some of the things that she noticed during her stay at NIT Calicut-
NIT Calicut is an institute of national importance with an excellent reputation and great placement records. However, as a female hosteller, my sister faced these obstacles which caused unnecessary frustration for her.
