our college has very good hostel facilities.there is seprate hostel for every year.good facilities. but the meal quality is very low. the hostel fees is 5600 in a month which is bit high compare to other colleges.this rate is because college has no building of their own for hostel, they lease a buliding and run as hostel

So our hostel is a convent hostel which she is looked after by sisters. We have time table in the food like from Monday to you stay it's like not changed I been here for 1 year and it's not change till now. Here after 9 o'clock at night we have silence here we should remind silent or else the bored and will shout it is because it's a rule here to keep silence after 9 o'clock and the food or the dinner is given to us at 7:30 p.m. and only half an hour will be the time which will be the food there after that they will get that back so if we are going to have food in the mess at 8 o'clock will not get the food so that is main drawback.

The hostel room has two benches, Two beds, Two chairs, 1 Fan, and a cupboard. The room is quite small. It is a shared room between 2 students. An extra Guest can get accommodation with the consent of both the inmates. The hostel also has a study hall with strong free WiFi. The mess is run by the students, and the quality of the food is good. Non Veg items are served 4 times a week at a reasonable rate of around 3000 per month. The hostel is granted based on distance. Students with SC/ST reservation are given priority Not rented a PG.

The hostel is average and is also pretty affordable considering the price for staying here is 5000 per month. There's no particular registration since it's a external hostel not connected to the college.. You can visit the place and if you like it you can start staying there after paying the fee. The hostel room consist of 2 beds with the purpose of 2 people sharing the same room. There's a table and a cupboard for each person. A common bathroom. A Washing machine.. A fan. A table and so on. For educational purposes this hostel is very convenient. Meal quality is also average. There's special food during the weekends but other days of the week are just ordinary food. The hostel is located just few meters out of the college so it's also very convenient for pursuing studies without wasting time.

so currently I am staying in a PG as a paying guest. So my hostel facilities includes a bedroom, bathroom, clean water, heater facilities, air-conditioner, etc. When we talk about the quality of food served in the Hostel, it is of best quality and it is very much different from other Hostel as we expect. Registration process for the Hostel is very hasslefree and the hostel fees is just ?5000 which is very affordable.
CUSAT hostel fee is pretty minimal. You need to pay around INR 300/month.
Although the fees for CUSAT hostel are nominal, the quality of living can’t be compared to other government colleges like NITs and IITs. Washrooms and other facilities aren’t at optimum standard. But if you compare it with the amount then the facilities are sufficient.
The hostels don’t have wi-fi facilities, so you will have to depend on local ISP. Also, there is no guarantee that you will get a hostel room in the 1st year itself. Many freshers have faced this and got hostel rooms, generally in 3rd or 4th year.
Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) provides hostels for students. Hostels at CUSAT are residential units that foster community living.
Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) has a central office, located in the Common Facility Centre. The central office is governed by a hostel advisory committee and issues hostel rules. It also helps students to get accommodation in the campus hostels. University’s office also takes care of new student’s hostel admission.
These are a few of the hostels for both boys and girls at CUSAT:
There is also a KMSME Boys hostel for students who are pursuing Marine Engineering. The hostel comes under the Kunjali Marakkar School of Marine Engineering.
Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) also has a mess. It is run by a committee of students. The mess food is quite good and comes at a reasonable price.
