School of Management Studies (SMS) was established in 1964, making it one of the oldest B-Schools in the country, and with a legacy of more than 5000 alumni across the world. SMS is part of the prestigious State-owned Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kochi. CUSAT is Re-Accredited by NAAC with Grade A+ and at all India 41st rank by NIRF.

For MBA courses i.e. Full-time/ part-time of the University, the admission will be based on score in the aptitude test / CMAT/ CAT/ KMAT followed by Interview of CUSAT.

For Ph.D, Admissions are based on Departmental Admission Test (DAT) which consists of Written Test and Personal Interview. Candidates awarded fellowships by UGC/ CSIR/ AICTE/etc or GATE/NET qualified are exempted from DAT.

The eligibility came down to three aspects entrance exam marks gd and interview. Entrance exam included cmat kmat and cat exams there were no exact cut off but a minimum of 200 in kmat is required. The application form was available in the website of the college fees was around 500. Frequency of exams are not bad the only difficulty came due to work load that we got

Eligibility - A valid score in KMAT (2022 cut-off was somewhere around 360), CMAT (above 80 Percentile would be good), CAT (same as CMAT). It is important that you also perform well in your Group Discussion and Personal Interview Session in order secure admission to SMS, and CUSAT; as high marks in your qualifying exams alone wouldn't grab you a seat. I had actually attended cmat that was conducted in the month of March 2022. I had a wholesome score of 199 there and applied in this college for admission purposes. The course application and other details were published in the news paper. Upon receiving this information I had applied for the same and secured my admission through a proper screening of GD and interview.
