My Experience In College of Engineering karunagappally (CEK)

The ambience and atmosphere of the college is very nice. All the facilities provided are also very good
The library and lab are also very good. Each and every lab class is well planned that we understand everything.

Dislikes

Lack of programs conducted inside the college.

Faculty:

There are more than enough staff for the college and it doesnt affect over learning experiences negatively. The faculty in our college is very good in their field and are knowledgeable. They prefer the classes to be very interactive and calm and its nice to sit in the classes. The apporachability with the staffs are also very nice we can approach them whenever we want and there is no restrictions and all for that.

A Review of Polymer Science in CUSAT

Campus area is very good. Sufficient places to explore within the campus.
Extra curriculum activities have special grace marks and a department to improve our these skills

Dislikes

Hostel facilities are bit low compare to their other facilities.
Sports needs and arena should be developed more.

Faculty:

The campus is student friendly college. The student to teacher ratio os 20:1 . The teacher individually helps each students for solving the previous year question to attempting new model of questions. Also help in Research work mainly in Polymer Science department of CUSAT. They are very friendly and frequent parents meeting is also held. A mentor menti system is also functioning inorder to look after each and every student.

Good campus,away from the busy city,college has a good reputation
Has nice college buses,parking facilities

Dislikes

Its a pathetic manangment team in the college
Pathetic security guards who doesnt have any soet of regard for the students

Faculty:

So the faculty to the student ratio is about 1: 20 and it impacts a lot in our learning ex0erience. Some teachers are really inspiring like AR.rajashree mohan she is really motivating us do our best.the principal and the management really doesnt care much about the opinions and concerns of the students.

The College campus was on the top of a hill and the vie was beautiful
There were so many facilities.The faculties there was nice and well behaved

Dislikes

I did’nt like the teaching style there,They only teaching us for exam oriented

Faculty:

Interaction with faculties were smooth.They are very friendly type which we can interact easily.The only problem is they are only teaching exam oriented.We don't know where to apply those.That's all about them

This college have Good infrastructure it give a good practical learning experience
The best lab facilitates and equipments , which give students a best practical experience

Dislikes

There no proper range for internet and call service
There is no more extra activities like sports etc...

Faculty:

Faculty members are very good and they have the best qualifications. Most of them have a PhD. The faculty-to-student ratio is almost perfect The approach of faculty to students is much better when we compare it with any other private institutions All of them are best for teaching. We can easily interact with staff without any tensions

provide good assistance and facilities for participating university games

Dislikes

not a proper sports ground ,if rain occurs ground will be in water for weeks
no surrounding wall ,so dogs are surrounded everywhere

Faculty:

the teachers are qualified,very friendly with students,and helpful.the teaching quality is good.they teach with a marker on white board,use smart board for further explanation.the faculty to student ratio is almost very effective.every lab has its own specialized faculties

The first i liked was that my college was easily accessible for me to reach out as it is just 20 km from my home.
The college has highly qualified faculties.

Dislikes

Doesn't get good placement offers. The average is from 3.5 to 5 lpa max.
The quality of infrastructure is not of top class. Just an average with basic labs and workshops.

Faculty:

The college as whole has a good faculty strength. Considering our information technology department doesn't have any phd qualified faculty but other departments like computer science, mechanical etc includes phd qualified faculties. Many of the departments are NBA accredited. Our teachers have very friendly attitude towards student. We have could reach out to them any time and anywhere.

The management is more friendly and help us in everything and we can freely communicate with them
The college have no restriction in haircuts and hairstylizing

Dislikes

Less support for cultural activities and sports
No fence the college is an open area where there are too many animals wander but none of them are hostile

Faculty:

There are less number of faculty and only few of them are high level educators most of them are below average in educating The non teaching staff are very friendly but they take to much time to process things and often decline our applications or make us wait too much There is a very low faculty to student ratio and most of the time we get many free periods and most of the subjects are not taught completely

The student diversity at CUSAT is one of the things I enjoyed
The library facilities and tech fests happening also contribute to our learning there

Dislikes

The hostel facilities are not that easily available to all students.
More career exposure can be given to students

Faculty:

In my polymer engineering department, the faculty were quite experienced and learned. I would prefer them to be more motivating for the students not just in academics but in the overall character development.
