Faculties are really good in SVNIT. One can search "R.V. Rao" sir and "Manish K. Rathod" sir, they are in the list of the top researchers in the world. Each semester, the are two exams: Mid sems and End sems and the cgpa depends on exams + lab + attendance + internals

The faculties of MSc Physics are very chill and friendly. We can approach them any time we are in dilemma, during the college hours. For each subject there is a separate faculty. Thus, each faculty is given a subject to teach such that the subject is revlevant their research area. Yearly, we have two exams one is midsem and the other is endsem. Midsems are generally of 30 marks and End sem is of 50 marks. There is a separate makeup exam for the first year students. This make up exam is to recover their marks if the students fail in midsem exam.

Faculties are quite average with some exceptional professors who had done research in quite modern ideas such as artificial intelligence integration in mechanical engineering and as such but there are some faculties as well who do not want to research in new topics and are stuck in age old technologies Some exceptional faculties include KP Desai sir, AA Shaikh sir, AD Parekh sir and a few more. Some professors are very bad and can hold some grudges towards students such as DB Gohil who is a very bad person and a psychotic. There are two major exams each semester Midsem and Endsem with some class tests in between. These exams are pretty neutral to clear, with average of 1/10 student not passing them. The curriculum is VERY OUTDATED there is no new technology introduced it's the same as what was taught 50 years ago and there is no effort to change to the updated curriculum and also we have to make drawings sheet on paper until 6 semesters which is very useless as the industries has adopted cad softwares completely and there is absolutely no need to make drawings with pencil and paper yet the professors torture students to make that and also don't give marks on those. We are taught Autocad in the final 7th semester with internship in 8th semester. So how can a student be job ready with these outdated methods

Relationship between some faculty and students are also very good but some faculty are quite strict they don't make good relations with students but they help studentsmost of faculties are approachable in my college u are going for ask any doubt in their cabin they help u . I like doctor meghal Desai sir he is the professor of chemical engineering department and he have tremendous knowledge the style of his teaching was amazing he is very friendly with the students and also easily approachable and name of some best facilities are doctor S.R Patel he is also the dean student welfare of our college, doctor zvp murti sir he is also comes under the top 2% scientist in the world and Arun Kumar jana sir he is the teacher of heat transfer operation and is also quite strict bt by nature he is amazing and chentan Patel sir is most humble teacher of chemical engineering department he loves students and didn't like professor Parimal Parikh sir because his way of teaching is bad no one in class understand that what he is teaching and he also cut the marks of students without any reason. In one semester there are two exams which are organised by our college one is mid semester exam and other is end semester exam both the exam are normal and too much hard the exam pattern are both subject and object the mid semester exam of 30 marks and the end semester exam are of 50 marks and there is tutorial which are conducted by each subject teacher the tutorial is

The faculty to student ratio is quite good which comes for 1:5. Teachers are well qualified and has a deep knowledge of their subject. The exam pattern includes 4 exams for 1 year. There will be internals separately. Most of the students easily pass in the exams

SVnit faculty members are very experienced and friendly to the students. They solve your doubts anytime you ask. I love surveying faculty because surveying is my favourite subject and professor of surveying ( V. Bhaiya) very experienced and friendly. The exam is well balanced some easy and some difficult questions are given . Svnit conduct mid same and End same exams . The batch is around 60 to 70 students in which 2 or 3 students failed to clear the exam . And 75 percentage attandance is necessary.

There is very good and reasonable amount of faculty yo student ration as only in mechanical engineering department there are more tha 85 faculty members.the faculties ate very supportive and encourage students for other activities like internships, research etc. The exam are mainly divided into 4 major parts Class test (20 marks ) ,mid semester exams (30 marks ) ,end semester exams (50 marks ) ,and other reports and tutorials.
Shrinivas Arkatar sir from the Civil Engineering department is quite famous among students. He has in-depth knowledge about transportation. He has a unique way of setting questions. The questions usually have all the required formulas but it's so mindful that most students get confused.
Amit Solanki sir is also quite reputed among the Civil students. His teaching style is unique. He has a way of connecting things from day-to-day life to the subjects he teaches.
Students also love attending the lectures of YD Patil Sir, C.D. Modhera Sir, Praveen Rathod Sir.
