What's New in IITRAM?
IITRAM Ahmedabad Admission 2024 is open for B.Tech courses based on JEE Main scores. JoSAA has released the Round 3 Seat Allotment Result and the last date for fee payment is July 08 (5 PM). Further, the Round 4 results will be out on July 10 and candidates can pay the fees till July 15 (5 PM). Students can check the IITRAM Ahmedabad JEE Main Cutoff 2024 here.
Other Updates are as follows:
- GATE CCMT Round 3 Seat Allotment Result is out for IITRAM Ahmedabad MTech Admission 2024. The deadline for online admission (PI Reporting) by depositing the partial admission fee is July 06 - 10 (by 5:30 PM).

IITRAM Admissions
- B.Tech Admission: Admission to the B.Tech will be granted on the basis of the candidate’s score in JEE Mains or GUJCET. Qualified candidates need to appear in JoSAA/ACPC counselling and have to participate in the seat allotment admission process
- M.Tech Admission: Admission to M.Tech will be granted on the basis of the candidate’s score in the entrance examination conducted by the institute. GATE qualified candidates need not appear in the entrance examination. Qualified candidates will be called for counselling. Counselling rounds will be different for GATE qualified and Non-GATE candidates.
- Ph.D. Admission: Admissions are done on the basis of performance in written test followed by an interview conducted by the institute itself. At the time of the interview, shortlisted candidates have to submit a Research Proposal.

Likes
- The college professors are highly educated, all of them are PhD holders. They have great research experience.
- The infrastructure of college is quite good. It is an 11- storey building with ac classrooms, tutorial classes. halls, labs.
Dislikes
- There is no campus . The college is built in just 5 acres, So there is no ground for recreation activities.
- There is no permanent hostel till date. However, 14- storey boys hostel, 7 storey girls hostel and a big faculty building is under construction.
Admission:
The admission is done via ACPC and jee mains exam. For 50% of seats, ACPC counseling is done for Gujrati aspirants. For the rest seats, Joosa and csab counseling are used. Reservation is based on caste and domicile. Exams are of the same difficulty levels as taught in classes.

- Course and Curriculum, Liberty to opt for interdisciplinary minors and honours courses and, Research facilities.
Dislikes
- Campus Life may be improved and more cultural events may be planned to enhance the social environment.
Admission:
The admission process is smooth and all the are taken through JOSSA counselling. 50% of intakes are taken through ACPC (common entrance exam for Gujarat) and rest 50% is done through (JEE Mains Examination). All the application process is done through JOSSA counselling system.

Admission:
The admission was processed through the JOSAA counselling based on valid JEE Mains Score. Eligibilty was solely based on the score & rank of JEE Mains. Other processes within the college where online and husslefree.
Likes
- The academics of IITRAM is the best. The Research oppurtunities was also the best.
- Working of Clubs and the events oragnised
Dislikes
- IITRAM only has a Vegetarian mess and Does't serves Non-Vegeterain food.
Admission:
The admission process was quiet sorted for me as I always wanted to pursue Mechanical Engineering and IITRAM had everything which made it the best choice within the state. Even the documentation was quiet husstle free.
Likes
- This college provides very good faulties of Electrical, Computer, Civil and Mechanical Departement all are well experienced and all have completed their PhD or Masters from well reputed colleges around the world such as IITs and NITs
- Although this college has a small campus since it is located in the residential area but that doesn't limit the amount of opportunities for placements and research facilities provided here
Dislikes
- This college has a very small campus area of around 7 acres also due to the same reasons the fests and parties and events at large scale can't be conducted in this campus since the locals living nearby gets disturbed
- This college should have its own curriculum rather than just blindly copying the curriculum of other top colleges since the students studying their and in this college have completely different potential and mindset
Admission:
I appeared for Gujarat Board as well as JEE Mains. I got decent scores in both the exams but couldn't get any top engineering colleges of my state. But since in Gujarat we have a separate councelling for engineering colleges admissions based on our board and GUJCET scores i got admission in this college. This college also considers JEE scores for CSAB candidates which are from other states. One can apply on this college while ACPC choice filling as well as in CSAB councelling
Likes
- The college faculty is the plus point point of the college. They are well educated and experts in their respective fields. They are approachable to the students and solves the students' doubt whenever needed.
- The labs are well equipped. The college focuses more on the practical knowledge.
Dislikes
- The location of the college is not good.
- The hostel is not in the campus. It is outside of the college.
Admission:
I took admission on the basis of JEE mains. The application form of the college is available on JoSAA portal. JEE mains exams happen twice a year with mediocre difficulty but high level of competition.
Likes
- I liked the seniors and the help I get from my faculties.
- The coursw curriculum and laborateries are top notch.
Dislikes
- There is minimum campus life in this college.
- Unavailability of the sports grounds in the campus.

Easy, took less than a day or so I took onljne admission putting online data on the college website and than attending offline, it wasnt much of a hustle. You can find application form and details on admission fees and application dates on official website of IITRAM.

- I liked the activities that are conducted. Like various games, sports, quizzes etc.
Admission:
As I am from gujrat board, the addmission process is through ACPC. IITRAM takes admission through ACPC and joshaa only. No other way. Midsem exam after approximately 1.5 months of starting of semester. End sem at last & class test, surprise test also comes as scheduled in academic calendar. Most exams are intermediate level, not too hard neither easy. Admission process is good.

- Faculty is from iits and nits and are top quality educators
Dislikes
- Campus could be larger and not met my expectations
- Institute should focus more on Sports facilities

Admission in iitram was not that tough I got admission through Gujcet, application process was easy, everything was online and the lab assistant provided me the glimpse of every electrical lab , admission process is not hectic

Dislikes
- Small campus we have so we have some restraint . But it's adjusted
- No cultural fest organised or any other such events

The eligibility is normal and it take follows procedure of Acpc councelling. ,it's easy to to apply in procedure, the examination is GUJCET and Josaa , 50% Gujarat seat and 50% all india seat. Other info is available on official website
