I like college infrastructure and the well organization of the staff and all the students
i like the college maintence .college management take good care of the college roads and main tain dustbins at every 100metres distance and use mostly paper based cups and products

Dislikes

The college security is a bit rash towards the students and they disrespect them and does no do their work properly
some unqualified(unable to teach perfectly) are allotted to the classes in which the student are unsatisfied

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are good .the average package of my college is17 lakh per annum .we are eligible for the campus placements in the 6 th semester .we are given only one placements their is no choice once we get selected .my plans after degree are to get M.techdegree

Collage campus is really beautiful and huge and we have all the facilities needed like sports, library, digital library etc.. Campus has many facilities to ensure over all growth of a preson
NITW's central library is one of the best libraries and is equipped with AC. It has every book you need for your academic studies

Dislikes

Mess food is really worse and it is also pure vegetarian mess. If you need NON-Veg you need to pay extra for it, even for boiled egg.
For completing a semester we need to have a minimum attendance of 80% it is really brutal.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since it is an NIT and the professors there are talented and capable. I think the course curriculum is really good and gives us in-depth understanding of the core concepts of Computer Science. we have 3 minors, 1 mid, and 1 end sem examination. minors are relatively easy due to less syllabus the tests are attemptable.

Placements are very good among NITs. More than 95% placements are required
Campus Life is very good Fests are very awesome

Dislikes

80% attendance is compulsory which is too hectic.
Hostel rooms are very small and Coolers are not allowed in rooms

Placement Experience:

Campus Placements are very decent in our college. Many MNCs such as GoldMan Sachs,JP Morgan, Deloitte, Accenture visits our college and hire many students every year. Last year Highest package went up to 88 Lakhs offered by the Accenture (intl offer) More Than 95%students were placed from campuse placements drive.

Life in NITW

It has very good campus environment and the facilities are really good . Not too much restrictions in hostels and girls are allowed to go anywhere till 11 o'clock .Professors are more concentrating on the teaching and learning rather than attendance.
There are holiday on Saturdays and Sundays .Which gave the enough time to do other chores and activities we like.

Dislikes

Outside the campus there is nothing more to explore.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements for interships are from the starting of 3rd year it goes upto the end of 3rd year.And for Full Time employement (FTE) it is from the starting of 4th yearwhich goes upto end of it.If anyone interested from the starting they can contact the alumni network or the professors to get the internship from the the 1st year itself also but it will be offcampus.There are around 200+ companies visited to the campus.The highest package for 2024 is 92 LPA and average for 2024 is around 10 LPA .But before recession it was 20LPA .The students placed was around 55 % of 2024.My plan is now i am doing intership of 6 months and trying to get placement through alumni network next year.

A DREAM COLLEGE: NITW

Academics syllabus is very well planned. From the very first day, the student studies his/her branch subjects which help in understanding the branch and build deep interest in the subjects.
Sports facilities are very well organised with regular tournaments and competitions. There are quite a lot grounds for particular sports like football, cricket, kabaddi, volleyball, basketball, lawn tennis, table tennis etc.

Dislikes

The gym facilities is pathetic. The equipments are old and rusted. Not all the machines are in proper working conditions.
The hostel facility is not at good. Furnitures are broken. The security level in the hostel is not up to mark.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is one of the factor why students opt NITW. Here the average package for the B.Tech in CSE is 30.5 lpa. Placement cell is very much planned and work in that manner so that the placement Percentage remains high. Around 99% placement for CSE students in their in NITW.

Great campus placement in all branches and it will be really worth it.
Great campus surrounding area and also having good environment.

Dislikes

Techers favoured with homestate students and it will be disgusting
I disliked the some guidelines for students which student cannot do specific things

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is too much interesting and there is too much tricky chapters. This curriculum helps in your life to how to do smart work and how to crack exam with lot of potential. There is area for improvement in marking system and the frequency of exam is twice and difficulty level is too much hard.

Teaching methods of professors is very conventional.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is like other Engineering colleges focusing mainly on academics.In CSE branch, courses are based on programming. Subjects like physics taught in 1st year can be removed. Exams are mid sem, end sem as well as 3 minors each semester.

Clubs culture - am a student who enjoys learning new technical skills .clubs like robotics helps me in doing so
Fests- both cultural and technical fests provide a great relief from the academic stress

Dislikes

Mess food-the quality of food is not upto the mark
Huge hostel fees and mess fees I feel like they are charging huge amount

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements .some of the companies in which our senior got are Amazon , Uber ,adobe, etc .80% of the students are getting placements in our campus .my plans after getting degree is doing job in any of the companies Our college has a highest package of around 80+ lpa and most of the students got above 40 lakhs which is considered to be a great achievement .
