  • Mess food is really worse and it is also pure vegetarian mess. If you need NON-Veg you need to pay extra for it, even for boiled egg.
  • For completing a semester we need to have a minimum attendance of 80% it is really brutal.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Since it is an NIT and the professors there are talented and capable. I think the course curriculum is really good and gives us in-depth understanding of the core concepts of Computer Science. we have 3 minors, 1 mid, and 1 end sem examination. minors are relatively easy due to less syllabus the tests are attemptable.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As i mentioned tution fee is 125000 per year and hostel fee is 28000 per year and we also have to pay 11000 at the start of every year as a mandatory fee. also we need to pay 1725 as mess fee for every 15 days. and another 2000 for extra spending per month. of course, SC, ST, and income<1lakh per annum students have complete tuition fee reimbursement.

Campus Life :

In NITW there are two main fests 1. Technozion 2. Spring Spree Technozion is a technical fest and Spring Spree is a cultural fest. NITW is well known for its library it has access to most of the journals and book. it is fully equiped with AC. Every class in NITW has been equiped with a Smart board and a chalk board. seminar halls have speakers and AC

Admission :

I have cleared JEE mains exam to enter this college. admission are taken through jossa and csab counselling.last year cuttof for jossa was 3004 as general category rank for home state people. and 912 as OBC home state cuttoff. Jee manis is conducted nta one's a year it has 2 sessions and rank is given to students through which they can take admission in NIT's,IIIT's and GFTI'S

Faculty :

most of the faculty in our college are PHD holders, and they teach really well. But not every one teach well some faculty members think that they know everything, but in reality they dont know how to teach. most of the faculty are really goog and often help students when we call them .

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I think that most of us the course curriculum was outdated as it is older than the birth of the students According to my understanding I suggest you to update the curriculum based on the current technology and advancement in the industry requirements

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is the old not updated overall since decades many subjects are included which are not practiced in real world. Theory subjects should be removed and practical coding subjects should be included which covers the real world applications.

Remarks:

On my personal experience, I would say that college is very strict and they have closed gate that is not accpectable. Even they will not permit you to leave the campus without the permission from the required faculty.
