I choose this course because there are very well equipped labaratories which give practical experince in mechanical engineering. The real world problems are taken into consideration and well try to solve them using our experience.I guess more practical knowledge should be provided in some subjects.

My course curriculum was affected by the practical emphasis and internship prospects. Exams are moderate to difficult which promotes a deeper knowledge. Faculty is highly educated.

The? Curriculum is too good and it suits to the course and the professors are too good and they have given the perfect guidance in my branch. And the academic parachutes are like very much in the future. As incorrect industry, mechanical engineer already. It's like just just up to next level. For the needs of the future generation as a mechanical engineer and the difficulty level of the mechanical engineer exam is like quite bit competitive and slightly high as the frequency of exam is 2 or 1 months.

I love mechanical engineering and it has wide range of opportunities in terms of placement and exposure. Mechanical Engineering is a core branch which is never out of date and a evergreen branch. The curriculum prepares us in practical and mental way such that we can deal real life situations. I suggest to use more practical based work rather than theoretical study. Exams are held four times a year midsem and endsem exam. The difficulty level is moderate and based on taught syllabus.

Firstly I love Engineering and it's a great scope in the modern world. Engineering is the true building blocks of world. The Institution is great if you want to learn and explore different things... It gives exposure to a lot of Corricular and Extra Corricular Activities. Although it's a great Institution but certain things need to be changed like the audio system and class timings. The exams are conducted per quarter of a year, and the course is quite easy and as per the taught syllabus.

My course is Mechanical engineering. It is very relevant to me as it focus on the topics related to mechanics and machine related things which I am very fond of. In first year we are not taught our branch subjects for which I can't really say what will be there in the branch. Hope to enjoy from second year ??

See in NIT ROURKELA MECHANICAL ENGINEERING is considered as one of the best branch. The facilities are good and the lab equipments are also good . Considering the real world application every aspect is covered you will have many lab shops in your curriculum like mqchine shop and carpentery and electrical shop. In terms of improvement I can say improvement in the way of teaching of faculty.

1. I chose the course due to the college atmosphere, personal interests, and excellent faculty. 2. Faculty to student ratio is almost 1:3. 3. Faculty are highly qualified with most of them holding degrees from reputed IITs and foreign institutions, all modern methods of teaching are implemented. 4. 2 exams occur in a semester with a gap of 2-3 months each, along with internal tests. The level of the questions are excellent, proper practice required for the same.
