Course Curriculum Overview :

The Course and curriculum is good as of in 1st year the subjects are common for all branches and they give real-life examples also. From the second year, all branches have their own subject, classes, and dedicated labs.

Class Size : 98Course Fees : INR 840000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Intership opportunities are good in our college. The students of third year gets two months internship from the company and they have to do the work in the summer vacation. And other internship is available in 4th year which is 6 months intern.

Placement Experience :

The placement of the college is top-notch. More than 250 companies visit our college per year. The average package of cse before the recession was 27 lpa but after the recession it is 20lpa. The placement percentage is also very good.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee is the same for 4 years that was in the first year. The complete cost of all the fees of a four-year duration course is 840000. Many scholarships are available here and for Jharkhand students, there is e-kalyan if your income is below 2.5 lakh, you can avail of this.

Campus Life :

My overall experience is on the good side. Many Books are available in the library. There are many clubs in the college that are technical, cultural, and sports. From this year our college is hosting inter NIT meet.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is very good. For the first-year students, there are two people in one room, and for 2nd year, there is one room for one student. The hostel premises are clean and well-maintained and security guards are there on the gates.

Hostel Fee : INR 15000 per year

Admission :

The admission process is through jossa and csab counseling. The only way to get into this college for btech is by appearing in jee mains. The cutoff is around 65000-75000 crl for obc to just enter the college.

Faculty :

The faculty and student ratio is good as there are much of faculty for each subject. They are well qualified and their teaching style is good. We can interact with them even after our classes are over in their chambers

A college with tremendous placement

Placement Experience:

Almost all the students of NIT Jamshedpur are placed irrespective of their branch. Coming to Civil branch the placement percentage is above 95 percent. And the average package is around 9 lpa. So in terms of placement NIT Jamshedpur is among one of the best NITs of India.

BIT MESRA - A BOON OR A BANE

Placement Experience:

The palcements scenario is decent in our college . Here very good comapnes come for recuritment but they are grenerally for the branches like computer science and IT. Other branches like ECE and EEE also have decent placemnets but othereise all other branches have a pretty dull placemnet scene.

BIT Sindri Review from an insider perspective.

Placement Experience:

Final year students i.e. from 7th semester students are eligible for placements. Companies like Tata Steel, L&T , Vedanta limited, TSUIL, TCE, Adani group, Aditya Birla group and many more companies visited the campus for placements. Also Core engineering branch students are also eligible for IT companies like TCS , Accenture, Deloitte etc they also visit campus. Total offers made this year was around 400 Average package is around 6.5 LPA. Highest package is 13.2 LPA by Vedanta for GET role. Around 75% of students were placed. My plans after degree :- I am joining L&T Constructions after my degree. I was offered this role by L&T during my campus placements. My responsibilities will be to assist the senior engineers and learn from them.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year one can go for placements, they are eligible. Campus placements do happen. Infosys, tcs, wipro, and many more companies visit here and hire the most skilled engineers. The percentage is obviously really good. A minimum of 80% of the students get placed in good-paying jobs.

After 6th sem students start applying for placements. The average package offered was 12.63 lpa this year due to recession in job market. The avg for my branch i.e production and industrial engineering was 8.26 lpa . Avg for cs was 20.24 lpa and the highest package offered was 82 lpa . Placement Experience:

NJT JAMSHEDPUR is known for its Placement. This NIT offers more than 95% Placement in all the branches. The good thing is that 100% Placement in core branches. U just need to maintain a normal CG say 7 then u might grab a good Package. The Average package of this NIT is 15LPA while the Highest goes 83LPA and the lowest Package offerwd overall is 6 LPA.
