Campus is very good and it's greenery makes its beauty.
There are all facilities available regarding all activities.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is too old that also lowers the beauty of campus
There are many old building which are not in use currently that also a misleading factor.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Computer science and engineering is the best course and high cutoff course of the college so I have choosen this and also the curriculum is well maintained. Also there are two exams per semester in which difficulty level is fair enough.

Class Size : 132Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There are many companies come to place the offers of internship to the pre final or 3 Rd year students .after having internship program if the work is appreciated by company then they can also make the placement offer for the student .

Placement Experience :

There are both options weather on campus or off campus . The companies came and held interview session after having all test they select the students for job. The highest package recorded in last year was 58 lakhs.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tution fee is 100000 per semester . Also there is recession in fee depends on the annual family income of the family . Also there is MCM scholarship that also very helpful which is given according to the performance of the person.

Campus Life :

There is technical fest named Concetto that occurs in October and a cultural fest which occurs in January last or February month. The clubs are very active and helpfull in extra curricular activities .

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is good and the cleaning is done regularly. The fee of hostel is 18000 per semester. The food quality of the mess is fair enough to eat .there is breakfast,lunch and dinner. And also there is evening snacks.

Hostel Fee : INR 36000 per year

Admission :

Firstly I had attempted jee mains and after clearing that I had attempted the jee advance exam .we have to clear both the exams . The cutoff for my course is around 3300 AIR in Jee Advance. There are also reservation benefits .

Faculty :

The professor of IITs are well educated and PhD graduated and also have a good teaching experience along with the knowledge in subjects . Also the best thing is we can contact them any time as there are s perate chambers of every faculty.

-> Placements are very good in this year and in the previous year , inspite of recission our seniors got good placements. -> around 200+ companies will visit this college and they offer around 900+ offers. -> highest package is 52lakhs for cse profile and least is 6 lakhs mining profile. -> around 80% students get placed. -> my plan is to do job in machine learning field.

Should you join NIT JAMSHEDPUR?

Placement Experience:

Eligibilty for placements- After the 6th semester. Mpre than 200 companies visit the campus, e.g. Atlassian, Amazon, TATA Steel, TATA Motors, etc. Highest package in Production and Industrial Engg is about 16 lpa. For circuital branches it is 83 lpa. Average package is 8 lpa (pie branch) and 12 lpa (overall). Percentage of placemt has ben around 95%.

NJT JAMSHEDPUR is known for its Placement. This NIT offers more than 95% Placement in all the branches. The good thing is that 100% Placement in core branches.
