Likes

The faculties were all experienced and friendly. They are always ready to clear doubt when needed.
From the moment i stepped onto the campus, i felt welcomed by the warm and inclusive community.

Dislikes

Though all things are good but sometimes we have to complain to clean the toiled

Course Curriculum Overview :

It helps me to gain the knowledge of accounting give the ability to understand and analize the financial report and their overall impact on a business.It provides good knowledge of the market,etc.This course provides me with expert knowledge in various areas of business administration and organisation.

Class Size : 152Course Fees : INR 10800 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

We have to pay half yearly. The tution fee and others fee all together was approx 5000 for half yeaarly.As we go to higher we can see a slight decrease in the fees structure.We can apply for the scholarship like Ishan Uday,OBC scholarship from college and the amount may vary from 45000-55000 for Ishan Uday and 30000 for OBC scholarship.

Campus Life :

The college provides the smart classroom along with exprienced teachers.We celebrate the annual week with too much fun and along with annual week our college use to celebrate the welcome programe for the newcomers,saraswati puja,Gandhi jayanti,Republic day,Independent day etc all of this are celebrate with lots of joy and enjoyment.

Admission :

There is a selection process for addmission.For that we have to apply online or we can visit the college.After the apply we have to wait for the list to come which was based on the cuttoff of that particular year

Faculty :

In common sunjects the teacher ratio is approx 1:60 and in other subjects the ratio is approx 1:15. They always establish a positive environment in the classroom.The ways they deliver the any topics are unbelivable ,as they used different examples or live examples to explain.And we are free to ask any quetions regarding any topic,anytime.

Overall a decent college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took commerce stream after 10th, so the most obvious choice for me was B.Com.(Hons) because of it's wide scope and applicability. This is a very old and prestigious college of Guwahati, Assam. There is not much pressure during the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It conducted several carrier counseling and seminars and workshops which helps students to make right choice in future and enhance their knowledge. In my batch we didn't have major in subjects .we were told that there will be major subject in 3rd year but there was not .Later they said that in honours there is no one particular subject to be major and all main subjects are considered major subject.

My Happy Place

Placement Experience:

From 6th Semester onwards the students become eligible for campus placements . There are many comapnies visited in our college like - Godrej , Axis Bank , Mahindra etc. The highest package was from Gorej which was for 5LPA . On the basis of their interviews rounds they were provided the job .

About my college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love their teachings, I can't speak assamese and when they teach in Assamese I can't understand anything but the teaching is mostly English and Hindi so I'm grateful to teachers, the mark system is crazy, they just gave us whatever they feel like giving, like it always ends with 5 or 0 for eg. 55 65 80 30 etc
