Likes

There were a lot of extra curricular activities so that students can develop their skills

Dislikes

There were so many students that why we didn't get personal attention.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It conducted several carrier counseling and seminars and workshops which helps students to make right choice in future and enhance their knowledge. In my batch we didn't have major in subjects .we were told that there will be major subject in 3rd year but there was not .Later they said that in honours there is no one particular subject to be major and all main subjects are considered major subject.

Class Size : 600Course Fees : INR 12000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I have little knowledge about internships and all but our college did collabs with some organisations that provided internship for students . Students can apply in college only .No need to search for internship and easily apply in college.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Fees were not costly it was affordable but they charges extra money for exam conducting which Gauhati University already charged. Overall fees are not high anyone can afford it .Comparing to the service fees are matching

Campus Life :

NCC and NSS clubs are there .Any students can apply for it which can be beneficial in future. They conducted college week every year where sports and cultural competitions were conducted.It is a great opportunity for students to showcase their talents .

Admission :

The admission is based on 12th marksheet. The cut offs are high for general category. More than 70% marks may get selected. If you belong from lower middle family or below if you have income certificate not exceeding 2lakh p/a you can go for fee waiver admission process.

Faculty :

Teachers were overall nice .As there are so many students it was different to get personal assistance from them. Some of them were helpful and friendly.Some just gave notes in class and didn't teach us.

Our College is best in Northeast Guwahati

Placement Experience:

After completion of graduation exams only students are choosen. I have completed B.Com degree from this college and I am very thankful to this college. But placement offers are very less not proportionate as compared to universities

Good for b.com

Admission:

Till my time admission process was totally offline. One need to fill the form and submitted to the college. Merit list is made on the basis of marks obtained in class 12th. Admission is only given on the merit basis.

Placement Experience:

Placement record of this college is quite poor. Although this college only provide general degree courses. There is Not much seen of on campus placement and job offer provide are not very good. Due to this reason many student go for MBA.

College under Gauhati University

Admission:

Getting admission in our college is quite simple one has to make application in offline mode by filling in the detailed application form which is available at the reception of the college along with the prospectus. After submission of the application you have to wait for the approval of college. Once the admission is approved you are required to complete the formalities like submission of fees and document verification. Nowadays admission application is also available online. One reason for opting for this college was that it was close to my residence and was popular in our district.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a placement and recruitment related help centre for Students. However when it comes to getting the students placed with good job packages the institute has almost nothing to offer. A student is on his own for jobs and internships and the college only provides the academic knowledge and degree certification.

I got admission into this college through 10+2 marks. You need to Collect the form from the college itself,fill it up submit it with self attested marksheet and 2 pass port size photographs. Also bring the minorities certificate (if applicable)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course of B.com here is average and better known for arts degree. There are internal exams and end semester exams.You can submit the paper for scrutiny but not for re-evaluation. The college provides bachelor's degree in arts and commerce.
