The college environment is good and the seniors are well behaved but the toilets need to be cleaner

Gauhati commerce college is best for b.com degree as they maintain regular class and uniformity in learning.They provide good knowledge regarding the course which will help me in future job applications. One thing they must improve in teaching is they must be more open with the students

Class Size : 110Course Fees : INR 4900 per year

Internships Opportunities :

They provide internship opportunities for students such as acme grade they help in skill development with various carrier options . The companies are such as Amazon Flipkart sony hcl etc they also provide stipend for 5000-8000

Fees and Financial Aid :

The college charges a minimum amount of 4900 for admission and it is free for some students with the required documents they don't charge monthly fees they just charge exam fees and they also provide scholarships

Campus Life :

There are many festivals such as Saraswati puja, Rang mela , Cultural nights etc. The library has average amount of good books which are necessary for the students. The classrooms has required amount of lights, fans, AC, digital rooms , computer lab. The college also has football ground volleyball ground and batminton court they also has gymnasium rooms and they conduct annual games every year which helps skills development

Admission :

For ST students the minimum percentage must be 60. The forms and dates are given in the college portal which is easily available via google. The exam timing are average I like their question patterns and I score good marks. The admission process is good there is no need of any improvement in this area

Faculty :

The teachers have good knowledge about their subjects and they reach the students in a professional manner. They teach in a good manner and they treat everyone equally. Teachers often approach the students whenever they need help

Placement Experience:

After completion of graduation exams only students are choosen. I have completed B.Com degree from this college and I am very thankful to this college. But placement offers are very less not proportionate as compared to universities

Admission:

Till my time admission process was totally offline. One need to fill the form and submitted to the college. Merit list is made on the basis of marks obtained in class 12th. Admission is only given on the merit basis.

Placement Experience:

Placement record of this college is quite poor. Although this college only provide general degree courses. There is Not much seen of on campus placement and job offer provide are not very good. Due to this reason many student go for MBA.

Admission:

Getting admission in our college is quite simple one has to make application in offline mode by filling in the detailed application form which is available at the reception of the college along with the prospectus. After submission of the application you have to wait for the approval of college. Once the admission is approved you are required to complete the formalities like submission of fees and document verification. Nowadays admission application is also available online. One reason for opting for this college was that it was close to my residence and was popular in our district.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a placement and recruitment related help centre for Students. However when it comes to getting the students placed with good job packages the institute has almost nothing to offer. A student is on his own for jobs and internships and the college only provides the academic knowledge and degree certification.

The course of B.com here is average and better known for arts degree. There are internal exams and end semester exams.You can submit the paper for scrutiny but not for re-evaluation. The college provides bachelor's degree in arts and commerce.
