Remarks :

Good academic curriculum and good environment. Also the teachers are very nice and cooperative. I chose Mechanical Engineering because it is a type of course which has a lot more options in future. Also I love the automobile stuff very much.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course syllabus is updated. Industrial exposure is provided in 3rd and 4th year. The facilities are good. The facility which I like the most is the DUIET hostel. The rooms are very nice and clean and good food is provided.

Class Size : 150Course Fees : INR 50000 per year

Placement Experience :

The placements and job opportunities are very good here. Different companies arrive every year to hold an interview for jobs. Companies like OIL, ONGC etc often visit DUIET for placement opportunities.

College Events :

The campus life is good. There are many extracurricular activities held in DUIET. There is a annual sports event organised by Dibrugarh University in which all the departments of the University participate and compete known as The Varsity Week. Also there is a cultural event held every year by DUIET called Auxesis.

Arya vidyapeeth college life as a student

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose philosophy as my major course as I want to learn about the things we experienced and the way they are the curriculum prepares me well enough to overcome in my day-to-day life I haven't faced any need for improvement in the teaching method. Exams were indeed a difficult task as a student, we hardly had a week to prepare ourselves for the examination.

Course Curriculum Overview:

About the course curriculum, I still wonder why they have to put science subjects on the course curriculum of arts students. They would say it's a basic course but it is definitely not. Those arts students came there to learn their main subjects. I think it is unnecessary to put sc subjects there plus it is not basic. Otherwise the main subjects' curriculum is pretty well organised and planned.
