I came to this college via CUET. It was random and at the end I chose this college. Got fee wavier and the teachers are serious. Absolutely nice. You can apply here by CUET or by Samarth with your 12th marks. It depends on you which way you want to come. CUET can give you a taste of competitive exams which will be helpful in future.

I did my graduation in the same college. I didn't apply for MA course in other college. This is best college for English literature so that, again i chose this college for MA course over the others. Apparently i apply for Bachelor in education course in Dibrugarh university, due to lack of preparation i didn't meet the minimum mark . So that, i continue with this MA course, which is my best decision. Entrance exams are held for admission. For apply in the college one should have minimum 60%.once cleared the exams, by looking at the overall percentage and the marks that the student gets in the exam, the selection process will do. My admission experience was good, as i easily get selected for the course.

The eligibility on my course was through a entrance test and my merit on 12th boards . The cut off on our course was pretty high as many students wanted to choose this course there were around 500 applicants on Political science out of which only 48 were qualified through entrance and the rest by cuet. Reservation is available for ST and OBC

The addmission is solely on merit basis and no kind of donations would help. Required percentage of the course is 80% for general category and about 72-76 as for reservation. The whole process of addmission from form fillups to getting updated is on the official website only at the time of admission physical presence is required. Clearance of any doubt can be looked after at the official website

I did my graduation from this college . An entrance exam was held for 100 marks which included biology, physics and chemistry and then a cut off list was prepared. In 2013 the cut off was 65- 75 for general category students. The application form was found in the college itself . Nowadays it is done online and can be found in the university website. The campus was nice enough to loiter and the college is one of the finest college in upper Assam. Now it has been transformed into a autonomous university. Two campus are there. One is for Science and Arts students and one is for Commerce students. Overall I gathered a good experience studying there .
Jagannath Barooah College is autonomous in a prestigious college of Upper Assam and 2nd college of Assam. Many famous personalities were passed Out from this College. If anyone wants to Graduation from this college in Sanskrit they must have at least 50% in Sanskrit or Higher secondary level to appear in the entrance test conducted by the department. The application form will be available on the college's official Site. They can contact the authority for any other further details. The contact no. , and mail id are also available on the official site. The reservation system is like 20% for OBC/MOBC category, 20% for ST students, and 20% for SC students. The Seat capacity of the department is 25. Therefore the cut-off marks will depends on the quantity of the students who appeared at the entrance and their merits. There is no any problem with the admission system. It is very easy for anyone to filling the application through the official site.
I applied for Ckb Commerce College and Jb college bt I chose Jb college as according to me the environment of Jb college is much more pleasing than Ckb Commerce college. As I was availing seat for B. Com Course the criteria is: Students passed in 10+2 examination in Commerce in mentioned years with an aggregate of 45% marks may apply for Commerce. Then the College will provide the merit lists naming the students who are provisionally admitted to the college. After that, the students can opt for further admission.
