Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU) requires a 12th (Higher Secondary) qualification for most undergraduate courses like B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech., BCA, etc. However, with a 10th pass certificate, you may be eligible for Diploma or Certificate Courses offered by the university.

To be eligible for the Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] (Honours) in Finance program at Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU), Guwahati, applicants must have completed their Higher Secondary School Leaving Examination (or equivalent) in any stream with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks.

There are various three-year duration graduation courses offered by the Assam Don Bosco University - [ADBU], Guwahati. The fee varies as per the course and specialization. 

The course is of the Candidates should have done BCA, BIT, BE/B.Tech /AMIE/B.Sc(C.Sc)/B.Sc (IT) from a recognized University or Bachelors's Degree in any discipline with more than four years of experience in IT industry. The duration of the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) - Part-Time program from Don Bosco University Global Center for Open & Distance Education, Guwahati is 3 years. The fee is not available online for the online MCA course

The application process for the graduate program and post-graduate program is common and available in both online and offline modes. Candidates have to purchase the prospectus ID and key before applying. Candidates have to apply for the entrance test online through the respective official websites.

Assam Don Bosco University does not have any state quota for Assam Students. However, it follows the reservation policy of UGC and provides reservation to SC and ST candidates.

Assam Don Bosco Unviersity follows the guidelines of UGC in providing seats. The university reserves 15% seats for SC candidates and 7.5% seats for ST candidates. There are 60 seats offered in each discipline of B.Tech.

The minimum required percentage to be eligible for admission to BCA is 45% in the aggregate of 10+2 examinations. The candidates with Mathematics subject in 10+2 will have an advantage in admission. The final selection will be done on the basis of personal interview.
