I just love my campus life . There are many fests which makes it very enjoyable.
Infrastructure is very nice . Campus area is very large . Mostly all the facilities are available here

Academic is little tough. I don't like the Very Competitive environment.
Their is nothing to dislike in infrastructure

Course Curriculum Overview :

Most specific aspect that influence the decision for course is the proffessor grading nature. But sometime it will also depend on your interest. Course structure is such that you will face some courses related to real life such as ethics, sustainability etc. I think courses must be oriented to the applications. As more theoretical knwledge is not enough to become a good engineer. Exams and Quizzes come very frequently. No. of quizzes depends on proffesor of a particular course. As for difficulty , if you read daily then you may feel these easy.

Class Size : 1100Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Many Big companies comes in our campus. Companies like JLR, Graviton, NK Securities,Quadeye, Google involved in internship oppoutunities .SDE, Data Scientist, Core Engineer, Finance Engineer etc are the most offered roles by these companies. So to sit for iinterview you have to clear the exam of that particular company . So if you clear the interview then you are hired.

Placement Experience :

In 4th year, 3rd semester students become eligible for placements. There is a body named SPO (student Placement Cell) responsible for internship and placements. Placement seson starts from first week of December. Their are two phaases of placemnet season .Big Companies like Bain, Niva Bupa,Orchid , Glean etc comes in the campus. 300 plus companies comes in the campus for placement. Average package of 1st phase is approx 26LPA. In 2023-24 , highest internationl offer is of 4 crore per year. Highest domestic package is approx 2 crore per year. For me, I am preparing fofr Data Scientist profile.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees structure of every semester releases before the start of it. But approximatel total fees per year for a general student is 2 lakhs. For obc students, there is tution (1 lakh) fee waiver is given. For sc tution fee plus hostel fees waiver is given. Their are many scholarships provided by institute such as MCM ( full fees waiver + 1000 per month pocket allowance) , Inspire Scholarship ( 60,000 annually), Donor Scholarship( given 115 scholarship only) , Free-Basic Mess Scholarship( for SC/ST, get basic mess bill ) etc

Campus Life :

I enjoyed my Campus life a lot. Annula Cultural fest of IITK is Antaragini , generally held in october. It is very enjoyable moment for every student . Annual Technical fest of IITK is Techkriti ,held in March. This event gives you the feel of an engineer and technical things. Library of IITK is PK Kelkar library. There are many books in library . Their method of issuing and renewed is very easy and online. now move to classrooms. All classrooms have AC and proper projection facilitites. There are many clubs and socities . You can pursue your any interest their and can build your career in it as well.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facitities are very nice in IITK. There are water coolors on every floor. Lift is also in proper working conditions to take you up and down . Only rooms are small as we two peoples live in a single room in 1st year. Now we talk about food quality, as it is very prestitious institute so quality is very nice. Their ia a student body HEC which handle all mess issues.

Hostel Fee : INR 100000 per year

Admission :

After you get the JEE Advanced result , you have to make the colleges list as per your preference to college and branch. Then Josaa does many rounds and choose the college as per your preference list and your rank. Every college release their rank criteria for every caste and branch. So as per your rank you become eligible for a course in a college . If you are selected for IIT Kanpur then you got a mail and furthur processe. All the announcement related to iitk can be checked on DOAA. There are reservation benefits on fees. For General their is no fee waiver, so you have to pay all the fees as per fee chart. If you belong from OBC then you get full tution fee(1 lakh) waiver. If you belong to SC then you get full tution and hostel fees waiver. Now after your admission, your life of IITK starts. As everyone knows the difficult academic life of IITK. Quizzes are very frequent . It's like you feel that exam keep coming very quickly . I think admission process is not very tiring in IITK.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subject of Biotechnology is of great importance and is very new and interesting too. The subjects offered are relevant and insightful as they offer knowledge on all aspects of the field. The curriculum is in correspondence to the syllabus of entrance exams like GATE making the preparation easier. We have exams every 4 months. The schedule is decent but there are lesser gaps than required between exams. The practical exams are sometimes conducted in the gaps between the exams.

The placement is average here because of lucknow city. But you can better placement in Metro cities like delhi, mumbai and many more. They provide average placement of 350000 and have 80% placement rate in campus placement.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester we are eligible for placement drive in our campus. Comoanies like flipcart bulebook etc have visited here but the offers was very less. Average package is 4 LPA and Highest package is 7 LPA till the date. Around 40 percentage of students get placed. My plan after getting the degree is that taking job from off campus. Hope so i will get it

From seven-semester, the student is eligible for placement. Cognizant, Accenture, tcs, etc. The average package is 3 lakhs and 3.5 lakhs and the highest package will be 42 lakhs. 89% of students get placement. After getting the degree I will apply for CDS and other government jobs.
